Why isn't iWork apps not free yet after IOS7 update ?
Apple did say that IWork would be free, but it is not free as IMovie still has the original price, is it for certen devises or is there a problem on the store?

It is only for devices which have been activated for the first time after Sept 1, 2013.
Same problem for me and I bought my ipad mini just a week ago.
According to apple.com the 5 apps is free to all ios 7 compatible devices acctivated after 1st of September.
I guess we just have to wait. Everything can´t work after the new update.
If anyone who has a device purchased after Sept. 1st succesfully gets iWork for free please let us know. I have an iPad purchased last week and I'd love to know how the free apps were recieved before I do the upgrade.
The advertisements leading up to the release of iOS 7 let me to believe that I work would be free for everybody. Apparently that is not the case. I was a little disappointed to find out but now it is only free for new devices activated after September 1 however upon looking at the reviews and how horrible they are I'm not disappointed at all in fact you couldn't pay me to use iWork so thanks but no thanks Apple once again.
IT WORKS !!!
1. You go to AppStore -> Purchased
2. In Search box write "iWork" - and turns out that all iWork is for free - in Purchased section
Well this didn't work for me. Is there another way?
I have an iPhone 5 purchased Sep 13th and NO iWork for me. Seems like Apple didn't think this one through all the way
Are you sure? And if I erase my iPad and install it again as new iPad ?

It's what Apple have published on their web site. Try your idea and see what happens and let us know.
It does work only on new devices! Got it on my mini iPad, but not on my iPhone :(
You need to go to Featured in the App Store. It's in the bottom left corner. Within Featured scroll down to Collections and select "New to the App Store?" Scroll to the bottom and select "Apps Made by Apple". This is where the free iWork apps are located.
This did it for me. Found them all for free! Thanks!
I still don't have the apps, i just bought my phone this afternoon
