I have the exact same problem nice to know im not the only one. Ive been trying it for 3 hours and it still isn't working.

Follow the directions and everything will be just fine.

If it fails the first time, just do it again. Trust me.

Same in Brazil, I've got an iPhone 4S and I restored it but when I try to activate it, it shows this message. 3 hours now hiting the retry button.

After 80 minutes, finally my iPhone is activated.

Suggest: try and try and try

So my friend got it to work. Nothing but a little persistence at time to get through to the server. Just keep trying over wifi and hopefully you'll get through. Try removing your SIM card, hitting start over, then putting it back in. Seemed to try longer to connect to the server after that, but still didn't go through for another 45 minutes. Good luck all!

I thought I was the only one 😐. The ONLY thing we can do is wait... KEEP TRYING!! After about 3 hours I finally got it to work. Ironically enough while reading this topic. Lol.

same problem here in romania. i'm trying to install ios 7 on ipad and iphone 4s, erased them but when trying to restore could not activate it.

Finally, my iphone also activiated.it took couple of hours, spent whole night 😟 . Its morning in Singapore .
