For those that cannot or have not updated yet, don't activate your phone at this time. It gives you the option. I spoke with an Apple tech who said they are working on the activation issue. If you already updated, perhaps restore your phone from your last update via ITunes on your PC or Mac. Or re-install the last software prior to IOS 7. I am updating now , but will wait until tomorrow or Saturday to re-activate my phone. Hope this was helpful!

I think that Apple should explain the reason for the problem and what they are doing about it, instead of leaving it to the customers to find out after much frustration and huge loss of time. It's like their time is valubale but that of the customers is not. It just like going to hospital, where they make you wait for several hours without giving you any explaination. Yes their time is valuable but yours is not. First they have made the error not me and you, so why should we pay for their error, when they have not a decency to even admit and explain the problem.

OK now I'm seeing the issue for last three days. I'm from California, nearby Apple's head office 🙂 , issue is here as well

My iPhone 4s was with iOS7 BETA3 then tried to upgrade to original iOS7.0.2 and stuck in 'Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your....."

Once I updated iPhone5 from regular 7.0 to 7.0.2 no issues observed. Now I'm affraid to update 7.0 BETA3 to 7.0.2 in iPad Mini.

iOS 7.0.2 released many days ago, I don't think Apple server is still busy...

No, what people are describing is not the message one would see if the phone were carrier locked.

Forum tip: This is an international forum. Many people rely on Google Translate. Your post will be far better understood by both native and non-native speakers if you use standard English spelling and punctuation. Abbreviations that some people use in text messaging (e.g. "ur' instead of "you're") and and a complete lack of punctuation make a post difficult to read.
