I have just installed IOS7 and it says your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached. Please help me

Yes. The person blaming Jailbreaks is just trying to scare people. Even if that WAS the problem, not sure why they are throwing that at people who clearly state they didn't Jailbreak.


It's just the servers are completely smashed with people trying to do it all at once, all around the world. It will clear up with time, just keep trying. Our other iPhone took over an hour to activate, we still have one that isn't yet. It will happen, just try periodically.

It's a very widespread problem at the moment; not just you. You can keep tapping "Try Again" or just wait a few hours/days and it should eventually activate. If all else fails, and I hate to say it... contact Apple Support.


Apple was apparently unprepared for the millions of devices that are simultaneously trying to grab the update. Some computer company, huh?
