Can I change my iCloud email in iOS 7?

I just installed iOS 7 on my iPhone 5. My iCloud account used to be linked to an old email address, I had changed it to the new email address long before updating to iOS 7 and everything worked great. Now on iOS 7, it's displaying the old email for whatever reason, which I obviously can't use to log in anymore. I also can't seem to type in my current email.

Is there any way to get around this?

It means that you didn't change your existing Apple ID from that old ID, it means the Apple ID you are using now was a newly created one (and therefore, the old one still exists).

Go to Manage your Apple ID: https://appleid.apple.com/ and click on Reset your password. When it asks for the Apple ID you want to reset the password for, type in the one that you are getting the "not available" error for, and answer the security questions so you can change the password. If you don't remember the Security Questions, contact Apple Support to get them reset:

Once you have reset your password on the old ID, you will be able to use it to turn off Find My iPhone for that ID.

Is the iCloud name that you need to delete a different Apple ID than yours, or is it the old version of the Apple ID you are currently using (i.e., did you simply change that old ID to a new email address?). Or, perhaps, is it an Apple ID that is not yours at all, but possibly the previous owner's Apple ID.

You really have not explained what situation, exactly, that you are facing, so we cannot provide you with the correct response without knowing which one it is....
