Anybody braved ios 7 update on ipad 2
Anybody downloaded ios 7 on ipad 2. If so, any issues ?
iPad 2, iOS 6.1.3
doing it now, so far so good. just booted up to the welcome screen and took about an hour in all

Any performance issues? Reviews say that it might be a bit sluggish ? Any advice greatly received :)
Haven't been able to dive in too far, but nothign terrible so far
On an iPad 2. Did not have a clue that there might be a problem with iOS 7 on it. Downloaded fine and was loading in that blac screen with the apple logo and the thin white line. It is over half done, but then just stopped😟 Not sure what to do...
Can't help with this particular issue. But the reviews are suggesting that ipad 2 users wait as there may be problems due to the dated hardware inside ipad 2 compared to newer versions
Thanks for the response. Ever place on the net I look it says iOS 7 works on anything from iPad 2 on up. It is just the 1 that will not work.
I am stuck with a black screen and the Apple logo. I might start a new thread with this...

Done and done 🙂 I force quit twice. The first time the line went 1/4 of the way then stopped. The second time it finished and I am on iOS 7! Yay! BTW, it says iPad 2 and up all over the net for iOS 7, so there should be NO problem 😉
Glad to hear that. Still trying to do my iphone 5. Numerous near but so fars..... 15 minutes from downloading...so fingers crossed. Be interested to know If you have any performance, wifi slow issues as a result :)

Good luck on your iPhone. I had several starts and stops with my DL as well :/ It finally kicked in though and I really love the new OS 😎
How did you force quit? My line is stuck at the 1/3 way. I tried to reboot and nothing happened. How long did the installation take, not including the downloading? I have an IPad 3.

I did my ipad 2 first before my phone and ipad 4 to see if it would be a smooth transition and so far I have seen no issues, my photos are all still available with videos and my emails and apps, so I have had not one problem on my ipad 2
I held the off button and the home button.
It is odd that after the second time I force quit and restarted, within 5 minutes the "HELLO" screen was up 🙂

I did that and when the IPad came back on it wanted me to plug into ITunes. I have plenty of battery and don't have my charger with me. I downloaded the update OTA. Why should I have to plug into ITunes to finish now? I also don't use ITunes at home. I don't use a computer any longer. So that means my IPad won't be of any use to me this evening and I won't be able to use it until I come back to work tomorrow and bring my charger with me?!? That makes no sense to me at all.
