I'm using an iPhone 4s 16gb and I've just updated to iOS 7. typing has become really difficult. The keyboard will lag for as much as 10 seconds after as few as 3 characters. Is there a quick fix for this?

I reset my settings after upgrading and that seemed to fix the issue for me.

That seems to have done the trick! Settings, general, reset, " reset all settings"

Does this fix the problem for a short amount of time only?
As the update only came out yesterday only time will tell but its still fine for me this morning.
It fixed it a few hours for me, now the problem is back (on iPhone 4S)
Seems to be better after resetting all settings.
I'll check for the next 24h and give feedback!
I did this to my phone yesterday around 3PM and it is 8AM the following moring and its still fine for me.
Yes, this method helped me, I wonder when it does come back again or not. I'll keep everyone posted too... glad to help each other out.
If I reset the settings lose contacts or pictures?
No, you don't dear... just the usual keyboard, lock, wallpaper settings...

My 4S was really bad right after I upgraded but when I woke up this morning, it was fine. I suspect a bunch of background processes were doing something and needed to finish. It's been speedy all day today. I didn't do a Reset.
😠Reset only works for 1 hour on my iPhone 4 it needs a fix!!!!!
