If it's the black box (2nd or 3rd gen) then is it up to date?
Where are you located? iTunes radio is currently US only
I have a 3rd generation AppleTV and I cannot find iTunes radio anywhere. I checked Settings Software Update and it says my AppleTV is up to date. I also restarted the AppleTV and still no iTunes radio appeared. I am in the US. The only way I can listen to iTunes radio now is to listen with iTunes on my computer and Airplay. However, iTunes Radio should be on my Apple TV. Is there an update coming?
Ok then they may simply have not pushed out an update or it could be done server side when the Apple TV app is ready. This is a user forum so no one here will have any further information or be able to give a timeline.
I am not in the US so I cannot test anything myself unfortunately.
I am in the US and I am not seeing it either on my up to date ATV3.
From what I understand it will show up as iTunes Radio icon on home screen.
The 5.4 update has not been pushed out yet (this update will add iTunes Radio and the new AirPlay update).
I took a look through youtube and there are already videos showing itunes radio on apple tv. I wander if they are just working thier way across the country with all the data they are having to send out today.
I saw those YouTube video too and, if I remember correctly, at least one of them said they were running a Beta of the new ATV iOS.
I've been checking around and nothing yet. Also, I'm thinking that once it's available all the Apple fan sites (AppleInsider, etc) would announce it to the world.

Hey! It's 10:30 PST and a new Apple TV update is now available for my Apple TV. It's in progress now.
Just downloaded mine. Now I have iTunes Radio on my Apple TV!
Just updated my Apple TV 3, stepped away while it was updating, now it's just flashing rapidly and the screen shows I need to plugin to iTunes. Sheeeeesh. I don't have the slightest idea where the micro-usb cable is!
That will happen when the update hasn't applied properly, you likely have a cable lying around but they can also be found online for cheap

When an update fails for some reason you need to connect your Apple TV to a computer running iTunes with the cable described (available at any drugstore, Walmart, etc.) This cable is NOT supplied with the Apple TV in the box. Most cameras use this type of cable, a whole lot of cellphones do also. Once connected and recognized by iTunes your Apple TV will be restored to working condition.
In the future try rebooting (restarting) your Apple TV before you update. I have found this eliminates most of the problems associated with updating.
