Since Apple does not support downgrading iOS, you have violated the terms of use for the software and yes, you have voided your warranty, whether it matters to you or not. Your decision, it matters not to me.

You missed the point that they had upgraded. So to reset their phone back to the iOS they had installed prior is not a downgrade for them nor for me. The phone warranty is for harware. The software licence agreement covers alterations to software (primarily). Yes, I read all of it prior to "agree" button. Not here to argue. But restoring your phone with an iOS6 backup is not a violation in any written agreement but merely a restoring of the phone from your back up. My opinion.

But you don't backup the iOS. Restoring the phone to a backup restores iPhone content, not the operating system.

The new iOS is very sadly a big downgrade. I used to like my phone, but now I am getting rid of it.

If there is no way to downgrade, I will most certainly buy myself another phone, because this new iOS7 is just disgusting...:( sad, very sad.

I went to the AT&T store and traded in my dinged up, year old iPhone5 for a brand new iPhone5 with (old) iOS6 on it. I restored from my most recent backup and voila, my old phone was back and the intense nausea and headache vanished almost immediately.

Upon researching this issue I found that there were reports of nausea during beta testing. It baffles me that there wasn't more effort put into trying to resolve the problem before releasing iOS 7.

In the years to come, if this problem persists with iOS, I have no choice but to consider a different phone brand all together.

Very disappointed in Apple, IOS 7 is a disaster!!!! Several apps no longer respond correctly, some are now very difficult to see with the new rolling tables, bluetooth pedometer will no longer connect!!! I have always been a great supporter of Apple products (2 iphones, ipod, 2 ipads, Apple TV, Mac) but am rethinking this!!!! I want to revert back, at least everything worked correctly!!!! I rely heavily on my calender for my business but now it is very difficult to see my schedule!!!! COME ON APPLE FIX THIS BIG MESS!!!!
