Seriously? Apple please give us a way back. The entire UI is giving me a headache. What a design disaster. How did this happen? Never would have expected something this poor from Apple.

Didnt you see the preview on the website before you did the update?? Did you watch the videos on YouTube showing how iOS 7 works??

That's like watching a car commercial and deciding to buy a hummer on looks, only to find out after you bought it that you get 5 miles to the gallon. Wouldn't a test drive be nice? I know...beta! The only option I had was to install the full version of ios7, beta wasn't available.

My analagy was to a comment about citty streets. I am ENJOYING iOS 7. My ? is about the charging. I get a continuos lightning bolt in my iPhone 5. Has Apple gotten rid of the AC plug of the fully charged iPhone?

There are plenty of videos on YouTube that show how iOS7 worked long before the official release...

Like I said, until you are in the drivers seat you don't get a real feel for it.

I told apple I would abandon my ipad product and also all patronage for the company if they did not allow me to downgrade to 6.1.3.  Apple seriously needs to start responding to this complaint. The change from 6 to 7  to the user interface has been too radical, but more importantly has many bugs. I also don't want everything against a white background. Just do it Apple, or I predict you will suffer on this matter. For those that love and praise it let them continue. I like my ipad but I do not want to join the church!

You love iOS 6 sooo much but do you realize that people complained about iOS 6 as well?

No other version made me physically sick.

I am sure that put the fear in Apple.

"Attention all Apple Development staff. We have to abandon everything we have done because pepekendal does not like the interface. Everybody stop work NOW, and fix pepekendal's problem. If we don't pepekendal will go to Droid because they do not like the Apple interface because it looks too much like Droid."

Raymond, we don't like the new iOS 7 interface because it's thin-lined, in pastels, and has cartoonish animations that are provoking vertigo, nausea, and migraine in a significant fraction of its users.  As a neurologist (but not a migraineur), I can easily accept that the new UI could provoke headaches and/or vertigo +/- nausea in someone so prone, to the point that it wouldn't be unwise for physicians to ask their headache/vertigo patients what smartphone they're using.  This doesn't even begin to cover the issues with power consumption that now tether users to the nearest wall outlet.  Apple is a smart company that needs to admit that it did a dumb thing, and fix it, quickly.

For every poster like pepekendal and myself, who are using their iPhones/iPads LESS because it's PHYSICALLY UNCOMFORTABLE (so much for Steve Jobs' preoccupation with design) or GROSSLY INCONVENIENT (since our devices are going through power like water through a sieve), there are (statistically) thousands of other users who don't post to these forums who have the same complaints.  Not all of us belong to "the church" (I love that one), and will of necessity, reluctantly or not, ditch Apple and go back to Microsoft and/or RIM.

Absolutely. Big battery drain here despite several reinstallations and switching absolutely every feature off. On top of that the bright white screens are giving me eye strain. Way to to Apple.
