Gail, I'm glad to see you took such an interest in my posts. My comments are in response to posts by other users. I don't have a problem with Apple, I have a problem with a company releasing such a screwed up system with no fix! We are all here trying to fix things together...you shouldn't take things so personal!

I just want to know if and win Apple will fix this. If a fix is coming, I'll wait. If not, I need to get a Windows tablet. Having to look away each time I move from app to app is making me more mad each day that goes by. I can't think of any other product that a company can ruin AFTER you buy it? This is NOT what I purchased.

I'm personally enjoying the spectacle of all of the threats, lamenting, etcetera.  It's quite amusing!

I wouldn't call "amusing" situation when I can't go out with my phone because it drains battery so fast that it turns off after ~5 hours in my pocket.

FWIW, directly from the iOS terms and conditions, which you agreed

    to when installed:

7.2 YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY

APPLICABLE LAW, USE OF THE iOS SOFTWARE AND ANY SERVICES PERFORMED BY OR

ACCESSED THROUGH THE iOS SOFTWARE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND THAT THE ENTIRE RISK AS

TO SATISFACTORY QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, ACCURACY AND EFFORT IS WITH YOU.

It's amusing when people complain about something that is their own fault.  I'm not laughing at your particular issue.  I'm talking about the people that are threatening to switch to another device because they don't like the LOOK of iOS 7.  Or that make the same threat because they cannot downgrade back to iOS 6.

Actual, technical issues?  Yes, those need to be fixed.

Whining and complaining about the aesthetics, or about the inability todowngrade?  Not so much.

You do realize that many users upgraded or installed every iOS Update because mostly nothing bad happend afterwards? Many Users are not big into Tech and follow the News on this Topics. So imagine a 08/15 User, told to install every Update because of Security and Stuff and suddenly the Phone look nothing like it used to be.

    Not a little empathy, no?

No.  I'm a proponent of personal responsibility, and that includes being a responsible and informed consumer.

When the aesthetics and (most of the) new features of iOS 7 have been publicly available for so long prior to the update, I don't have sympathy for those that rushed to update without doing any research.  Additionally, the Terms & Conditions of the update gave a lot of information that some people skimmed past in their rush.

Complaints about the 'look' of iOS 7? No sympathy.  There were previews and reviews available.

Complaints about not being able to downgrade?  No sympathy.  There were warnings about downgrading not being available, and Apple has never allowed downgrading.

Complaints related to a technical issues? Plenty of sympathy.  That's the purpose of this forum.

Oh!.. Why must I watch, read, anything??? I trusted Apple, I expected them to show something better than before, but not so much worse!

You appeal to licence agreement, but just think about, what if you'll read there something like "If user downgrades os on his device he is has no right to use it anymore", wouldn't you laugh at the face of one who produces such evidence?

It does not have any logical ground, and when it starts to disturb your user experience I don't recognize it as valid!

I DON'T LIKE IT! - that's all! I'm the customer and I am always right! Let me and everyone who wants downgrade, or you'll just lose your customers
