Unable to connect to server to accept new icloud terms and conditions

Is anyone else haveing this issue? On my iPhone and iPad after upgrading to iOS7 I am being asked to aggree to new iCloud terms and conditions, but when I select 'View Terms' to sign it returns an error: 'Unable to connect to server.'

Until i can get this working I am unable to use any iCloud services on both devices. Server overloaded? Anyone else?

This did not work for me. It turned out to be the Time Zone settings on my icloud account. go to www.icloud.com in a web browser and log in. Then select "icloud settings" in the upper right corner under your name and change the Time Zone to the correct one when the settings load. This worked for me. I then went back to my iPhone and logged in just fine. Hope this works for anyone else.

If the "Find My Friends" trick doesn't work, log into your icloud account on the website (www.icloud.com) and go to your settings and check the Time Zone. Mine was set to PST but I'm currently in Dallas, so maybe that was throwing it off. After I changed it to CST, saved the setting, and then went back to iCloud on my iPhone, it worked!

So, location services was failing to connect to server on my phone plus a few related problems. After trying to solve it myself, looking things up and also seeing this post. I ended up calling apple support 1800-694-7466 ( for iPhones) They looked into it for a sec. and went over a few steps that may work for ya. he said that it might be my actual cellular data connection even though i had wifi. i didn't have a bad cell connection either but he advised me to turn on airplane mode for a min then back on and try it again immediately after it finds LTE or 3G. It only worked when I went through iCloud menu and it finally loaded the rest of my options for location services from there.(which is where my problem stated in the first place) Seems to work fine now. good luck. BTW calling apple actually helped me evaluate the problem and I give em props. TY apple!

I found the best way to sort this, and the only way that worked for me, is to reset the network settings.

Go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings

Once restarted you will need to re-select your WiFi SSID and re-enter your WiFi password.

You can now go back to iCloud in Settings and agree to the terms and conditions and then sign in to iCloud.

Hope this works for everyone else!

Hi

Unfortunately before reading this thread and other discussions in the forum I have deleted my iPad from the Find my iPhone

Now I'm unable to login into iCloud on my iPad

Unable to contact the server is the standard response

I tried FaceTime but it is of no issue as the message "There was error connecting to the Apple ID server"

Unable to sign in via iTunes and App Store as the same above message is displayed

I'm helpless. Kindly let me know if there is a way to fix this issue!!

My son had a similar issue.

iPod Touch 5th Gen - iOS 9.3.5

The iPod restarted itself asking for it to be setup again. (Data, Passcodes, WiFi etc are still intact)

First thing is that it would not activate the iPod, so I had to plug it into iTunes and then it allowed me to activate it!

I was checking his other settings e.g. iCloud but when I went into that section it said I cannot do anything until I have accepted the 'Terms and Conditions', when I tried to accept them I got an error 'Unable to connect to server'. Previous posts suggested that I open 'Find my Friends' but that didn't work, it just took me straight back to the iCloud settings.

I noticed that his Date and Time were off so I readjusted them and everything kicked back into action. looks like apple servers don't like devices out of sync with their servers (some security thing)

Hope this post helps and not too long winded.
