My iPad 3 freezes after installing iOS 7.  It happens most often when change wall paper.  I never had this problem with iOS 6.  Anyone else experience this?

Safari, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

My iPad 4 lagged at first, after updating to iOS 7.. But, it has seemed to have smoothed out once iOS 7 caches a few programs..

I heard that there are a lot of bugs that apple is trying to fix. Did the update take up 3.4gb of storage bc thats what it is telling me it takes?

My download was less than 1 GB for the iPad.

My iPad 3 is doing the same thing.  Rebooted the device and it runs a little better but it will always lag when changing wallpaper.

Same here on the lag, specially when trying to adjust the wall paper...

Has anyone noticed that the pull down menu is all black instead of inheriting the color theme on the ipad 3?> A buddy on his mini inherits the color theme...

    hope this is a bug...

testing the update now on my work iPad2!

I have the ipad 3 and since ive installed ios 7 it just glitches and freezes ive tried restarting but doesnt make any differance.

I completed wiped my Ipad3 and then installed iOS7 from a restore. Have issues of slowdown on wallpaper select also. Looks like it won't let you select the wallpaper at the bottom. Then the home buttom freezes and the ipad won't respond. Takes around 20 seconds to come around. (Once this has been slected it seems to slow the ipad down also.)

Not sure, but it seems that the longer I leave my ipad on, the better its getting? Like its settling down?

I'm sure I can live with it until they bring out 7.01 with fixes for this and other performance issues.

Seems weird that this was not noticed in the Betas though, why bother with betas

(I also find that Multigestures seems to work better than the home button.)

Is it worth wiping it clean again and reloading? Anyone tried this yet to see if it improved?

    Cheers All

I got the same problem with my iPad 3.. At first I thought it would be a download error on my part so I downloaded iOS 7 again and tried restoring my iPad again... But it's pointless.. Seems like the blog pull down menu and the white control centre are bugs... Hope apple releases a fix soon!!!

Same problem for me, my iphone 5 is working well, but my ipad 3 is always freezing, not very happy of Apple!!!

I had "freeze" problems on both - iPad3 and iPhone5.

Due to the new backgrounds and effects, I think many people are trying it - and this is where my iPad stalled too (I did full restart and the new background was applied, I dind't dig further).
With iPhone change of the backgroud was not an issue, though eventually the device was completely frozen when I had an App running.

Even my ipad4 gets freez often..this is very bad..If apple is not confident of release..then it should not release and make users suffer. This very bad from a apple..Please release ios with bug fixes or just make us to rever it back..

Anything I try to do in "Settings" is now very laggy and takes a few more seconds than it used to.
