No "Reader" in Safari? (iOS 7, iPad 3rd gen)

I get the same results using the same websites as you are getting scamper. I was just happy to figure out where the 'reader' button was now located, but now am perplexed as you are about why it works on my iPhone 5 and not always on my 3rd generation iPad.

I never paid attention if this happened under iOS 6, but could imagine that some sites might need the option on the smaller iPhone and not on the larger screen of an iPad.

I don't see the text size selection we had in iOS 6. Anyone figure out how to make text larger or smaller?

Thanks for posting this. I have the identical problem in trying to view Daring Fireball on my wife's iPad3. I see and use the "reader" icon on my iPad Mini but the new icon and capability is not present on the iPad3.

Am reporting it as a bug.

Am also considering moving to an iPad Air.😉

I think that there is a differnt kind of reader on the iPhone that the iPad doesn't have but on a site that the iPad has the option for reader, the same kind of reader shows up on the differnt side of the iPhone.

Wow, seriously?? iOS 7 Safari doesn't show the full URL in the URL bar??? I continue to be increasingly disgusted with Apple for iOS 7. I'm so glad I haven't "up"graded. I actually decided NOT to purchase an iPad Air after using one in an Apple store for 45 minutes. iOS 7 is a freaking disaster.

You're seriously bumping this topic? And you can't downgrade to ios 6 if you get a new apple device or if it was upgraded to ios 7.
