Don't upgrade. If it ain't broke, and you like the layout of iOS 6, stick with it.
The nausea from zooming apps is resolved, but I still find my eyes disoriented by:
- the blurry transitions in the camera (why is that even there??)
- the weirdness of text messages. The way it is in iOS 6 is PERFECT as is.
- the general gaudiness and brightness of the new design.
- some new inconveniences, where none previously existed. (to put camera in grid mode, you have to go to settings, the general additional steps to listen to VM, etc.
If you have no imperative reason to upgrade, don't. If you already had problems with iOS 7, don't tempt fate. Borrow a friends iphone/pad for a bit, and experiment. If you like it AT THAT POINT (not from a youtube video, but from firsthand experience), then upgrade. Don't buy the cow if you're getting the milk, and all that.
I've reverted back to 6, and frankly, more people are checking out my phone and envying it rather than vice versa. I'm upset that I don't have some elements that 7 offers, but, really, I couldn't care less. I bought iPhones all along bc the design has always been perfect. I won't be in the market if the design from iOS 7 is the only option.
