Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I tend to use my iPad 2 exclusively in landscape orientation. After the upgrade to iOS 7 the Remote app that controls Apple TV from the iPad is stuck in portrait mode and I can't see a way to rotate it. Any thoughts?

I can partially, replicate, not sure about the airplay icon it is visible on the control centre screen when I swipe up.
When I swipe down to close the control centre the Remote app does jump to the now playing mode! just a simple back arrow (top left) to get back to the library mode. Same effect whether displaying songs albums, artist of playlists.
The remote app has always been abysmally slow to connect to Apple TV. With this new update for IOS 7 fixing the landscape issue, it is now glacially slow. Much worse than before.

The last update of Remote.app seems to work now for landscape. But remote still seems slower and a bit buggy (quits itself often and slow for me). Hopefully it will get back to full health soon.
Version 4.1 works fine for me on both iPad and iPhone.
I do not know why these other people are passing your post by, as this completely fixed my fiance's Ipad. Albeit it's a stupid thing, it still worked. So, thank you for that suggestion.
