To delete a city in the weather app, swipe Right to Left - it will open a dialog that will allow you to delete a city.

Thank you, thank you!
Thanks. I think this can get better.
It will not remove the one from the top as if it your location all my other cities have the current information but the TOP one is blank and yes it is where I am but I want it removed or at least update to give current weather
I went to settings > Privacy>Location Services> Weather, turn this off and the top city is removed.
I am not sure why it pick my location in Orang County, NY, when I live in a upstate NY city ( a 4.5 hour drive)?
Not really happy with this iOS7 update, issues with the contast level (cannot adjust?? why?)
Thank you for the answer, I was swiping left to right and had to do a google search to find this post and the answer. =) Appreciate it!
Thanks very much. That did the trick for me :)
So very very helpful.
I had a similar problem: the weather was incorrect for the only city I had in Apple's weather app. Restarting the app didn't fix it. I also could not add any city; the search always said "city not found". I could not delete the city by swiping (even in the new backwards-swipe manner).
I toggled Location Services for the weather app off and then on again, and that didn't work.
Finally, I turned off Location Services. Then I forced the app to shut down. I tried adding a city: this time, it worked. I then deleted the city and turned Location Services back on for weather. When I opened the app again, it searched for my location and then correctly displayed the weather. Let's hope it stays this time.
Very buggy. This is not the first problem I've had with weather under iOS 7. I don't know if it's Yahoo's crappy service of a bug in the OS.
Hey,
Not able to remove cities now. 😟
Was working before i0S 7.0.2 was released.
Doing "swipe Right to Left" after holding down the city does NOTHING now. ***!
You can only move the cities up and down now. And I see no way to delete any city.
So lame!
cya,
Will
You don't hold down the city before swiping. You just swipe right to left to reveal the delete button.
If that's not working for you, try quitting and re-opening the app. If it still fais, try restarting the phone.
It's working fine on my iPhone 5s.
Not sure how I did not try that first. Whoops!
Thanks, worked perfect now. 🙂
You didn't try that first because it is not intuitive, which is a problem that I have been having with Apple lately, frankly.
When viewing any city, on the very right hand bottom, you will see some faint lines. Tap on this and all cities will appear alphabetically. Decide which city you choose to get rid of. Swipe from right to left and viola, the red delete box appears. Do away with that city.
Hope this helps you iOS 7 users!
Exactly. Swipe right to left.
