Google translate works nicely in both web and mobile mode through Chrome.
I'm sure if we all started to use Chrome then Apple might start to give a fix for this Safari bug a little more priority :)
Safari and Google translate works fine for me.
This Problem was solved in new iPhone 5S and iPad Air and iPad min with retina display , all the devices have A7 chip .
I don't know why only in A7 chip !!!!!!!!???????

How much memory did those systems have on board? I do expect systems with enough memory (32 Gb or more) not to expose this issue.
Hi , i like to ask, i have iPad 4,64GB, ios7.0.3,3 month old. I can't use translate.google.com on safari but i can use it on the tranlate app. Any suggestion please i prefere the web one .
The actual web based translation crashes my safari on my ipad, this is really bad because I use a bookmarklet to a slate entire we pages and it no longer works. I also can't even go to translate.google.com because the entire safari will crash. This is only happening after the update.
Great! I'll start to use chrome instead.
My Mercury doesn't have problem with that either.
But ios7 safari just can't handle it. Ans just yesterday I decided to use Safari for a change and moved all my bookmarks there. What a dissapointment. I hope Apple will take this issue seriously.
The Google Translate app works fine on both my iPad Mini and my iPhone 5. Both have iOS 7 with the latest updates.
George
It is about web site opened by safari. Application doesn't have problem.
I also had this problem. Instead of Google, use Bing service. It works for me. www.bing.com/translate
It's not the problem of IOS7. It's the problem of Safari of IOS7.
There are no crashes with browsers on IOS7 like Mercury and Dolphin.
I also hope Apple will take this issue seriously.
