Had the same issue right after the IOS7 Upgrade , and it is really frustrating knowing that you CANT download or update any app from app store , i have tried all possible options provided here and out in the internet , but still no hope ,

it is a shame for apple releasing such a buggy OS and prompts millions of people to download it , and i dont know how long it is gonna take them to fix this bug , i am sure steve jobs would not be happy with this if he was alive till now!

OK here is what works for me , im my case i was able to sign in through window's itunes but not from iphone.

first of all go to this link and change your apple id (by following steps it won't effect your previous purchases)

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5621 (don't forget to sign out of all features and services, also from mac or windows if you have itunes installed on it)

after changing your apple id , first sign in from windows or mac to itunes

then connect your iphone with itunes via usb

now try to sing in from iphone while connecting via usb.

And here you go.... 🙂 (i hope this will work)

My App Store opens, but when I go to download anything, the download just times out. I even see the app appear on my home screen with the "Waiting..." title, but suddenly it disappears. Has happened with many different apps, so it seems to be more than a third-party issue.

I had the same problem, until I opened another app (Maps), which accessed the App Store with recommendatons for public transport apps. Now I can connect normally to the App Store and download stuff. Hope this helps.

I could always connect, but I couldn't search for anything.

Just tried the steps in this thread:

Log out (Settings > iTunes & App Store) then did a hard reset (Home and Power button) then signed back in.

That worked for me.

i do not know what to do.. i uploaded my iphone 5 to iOS 7 and since then when i enter itunes store i cant go anywhere- search find, literally nothing and nowhere displays..I tried hard reboosting the software as you mentioned but it didnt help, also checked my date ant time settings (am from europe) but all of that failed to help... Appstore on the other side works totally normally. please give me some advice... 😟

I've tried all options that was mentioned in the thread, and every time I go to add my apple id and password to log in - it doesn't log me in. Apple really needs to do something about this right away.

YES it works ! great men, people from service section could solve it the way you did it (as a matter of fact the only thing the adviced me to do was to chec my connection..................................................................) !

I talked to apple support today and they said this is a known issue and they are working on it. I'm AT&T and I get booted off iTunes as soon as I try to connect but other AT&T people are having no problems. Works fine on my iPad and my sons 4S, but not my 5. Sure it'll be fixed soon. I tried all the solutions you guys gave in the earlier posts and nothing worked for me so I'm waiting it out.

I switched the "Block cookies" setting in Safari from "Always" to "From third parties and advertisers" and then rebooted and this worked for me without having to reload iOS7 or reset all settings. Good luck

Hi, again I talked to Apple support and this is a known bug after iOS 7 install, they said it should be fixed soon. Mine is working now so they did something because none of the fixes listed here worked for me, good luck :)

My solution was very close, but different. Maybe it will work for others too...

Go to Settings >> iTunes & App Store >> Click on your Apple ID >> Sign Out

Restart phone normally

Open iTunes Store

Go to bottom and Sign In.

This variation worked for me when all others failed.

The issue is solved. I restore my iPad by pressing Shift + restore iPad on iTunes with the ipsw file. After the completion of restore, it asks me to fill in the Apple ID but I skipped it. Amazing, it works. I checked the setting / iTunes & App Store, my Apple ID was automatically filled and the App Store is open without problem. Hi hi hi
