You´re absolutely right!

The aesthestics of the previous iOS was what separated Apple from the the dreary rest. Now since they´ve adopted a mish mash blend of Windos and Android they are not unique in any way anymore and I might as well just look at tech specs when

Nonsense. iOS 7 looks and operates nothing like androgyny and windoze phones and no more so than iOS 1-6. If you think so, explain how.

I don´t even know why you responded to my post other than to put your complete ignorance about design on display. There are several similarities between the systems now since iOS7. Here´s just one example:

My opinion is just that if you´re going to steal stuff, do it from someone who makes better stuff than you, not from any random 5 yo in the street.

Well as was discussed in some of my earlier posts the one thing that apple listens to is sales and numbers, and the numbers they reported today were not in line with analysts expectations, which was a little suprizing given that the market in China that has just opened up to them so there was potential to sell a very large # of units. After hours trading Apple is down a little over 8% which with a market cap of around 495 Billion amounts to a shareholder loss of 40 Billion. I'm sure Carl Icahn isint too happy tonite, given how much $$ he has put into AAPL recently.

This is the type of "feedback" that a corporation cant ignore...

Why are you here, not to help.

I do like teasing you though, as you make is sooo easy.

And yet, even though knowing there is no possible "help", you remain. Magical thinking? Delusion?

Looks like many of the points made by disatisfied users are slowly being addressed. Seems we were right and you are ... well, what can I say ... it rhymes with a toll.

I post this for this who have already posted on this thread as I give 50/50 odds this post will be deleted.

By many measures IOS7 is an outright failure. Consider these facts:

- numerous headlines touting "buggiest IOS ever"

- recent articles showing web searches for "IOS crash" have exceeded "android crash"

- Read the IOS7 launch Marketing. Watch the videos. Apple is slowly undoing all the great 'benefits' of IOS7 UI.

- Cracks me up to hear Jony Ive talk about minimilazing the interface

- Read articles on 7.1. It brings back all the stuff Apple said was old and bad

- How often does Apple have to update icons? IOS7's were sophomoric, neon hogwash.

"Apple sees worst day in 12 months"

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Apple Inc. skidded on Tuesday, poised for its worst day in a year, as investors voted with their feet on the tech giant’s latest earnings report.

Apple’s AAPL +0.41% stock fell more than 7%, its biggest daily decline since January 2013, after the iPhone maker released disappointing earnings outlook. The firm said it expects revenue to be in a range of $42 billion to $44 billion for the current quarter, below analyst estimates of $46.12 billion, according to FactSet. Apple reported that it earned $14.50 a share in the fiscal first quarter, compared with $13.81 a year earlier. Revenue rose to $57.59 billion from $54.51 billion during the same period."

Apple is certainly is no danger of going out of business, they have so much momentum that even if they stopped doing anything inertia would carry them for a good few years just on its own. However what we are seeing here is that even with the China mobile deal and the fact that it was a holiday quarter with not one but two new iPhones introduced, a new Mac pro etc. almost no increase in sales numbers from Q4 2012 was seen. Also contrary to what I said yesterday, Carl Icahn bought Another $500 million worth of stock today and in spite of that the stock was still down a full 8%. Also note a big reason for the selloff is a disappointing earnings outlook for this coming quarter, not just the past Q4.

Was IOS 7 the reason ? Hardly.... I'm sure there were a number of reasons that contributed to this decline in momentum; however IOS 7 was most definetaly a contributing factor.

The amount of people that dislike ios 7 are a minority so what's exactly the point of this whole discussion. os9 looked different form osx and i'm glad we actualy going forwards instead of backwards, progress comes with change. Not everbody likes the idea that 10 years from now their newspaper isn't made of paper anymore, but do we need to hold on to the same designs the rest of our lives because some of us can't deal with change? Is ios 7 realy that bad that some people bought an old phone just to have ios6 are we that spoiled that when things aren't going the way we want it to go we immediatly go to the Apple boards to complain? We still have our phone we can still browse and call and facetime and every other thing we could do before. Apple got bored of the old style and chose a new way, so what! Get a life!
