I fail to see the issues...my CDMA iPhone 4 has iOS 7.1 and has not had any problems...after two full days of usage, calls, texting, email, battery charge is only down to 65%. Has not locked up once since installing iOS 7 on release day. I am well past the age of 12, have grand children half that age, who are also fully able to use the iPhone and iPad on their own.

Yeah - but the 12 yr old jibe was really directed more at the horrible design, not performance.

Clearly a lot of people are having problems and are disgruntled with both the design and the performance. Why deny it and pretend this is not true?

Here's the crux. I acknowledge your right to have a different opinion than mine.

You fail to extend the same common courtesy.

This kind of behavior ("No, I'm right and you're wrong!") is usually attributed to an immature personality.

Your stance is that anyone else's opinion regarding the quality of the iOS 7 design is wrong. You can't even acknowledge that other people have differing tastes.

My stance is that while I disagree with your opinion and have a differing opinion, that you have every right to your opinion.

One if these is a closed-minded and immature stance. The other is not.

So... who's the child here?

No one is denying that there are people that don't like the design or performance. The issue is that you are trying to force your opinion about the design as fact. And that's just not going to fly.

I know the jibe was in there :-). And was getting a shot in return :-). Guess because this whole discussion has lost real direction.

I am not disagreeing with everything you have said, but some things cannot be changed so are not worth getting upset about...the design of iOS 7 was a point of complaint for me when it came out...those of us over 50 have to face the reality of close focus ability, and the impact of a flat, bright background. Apple did dim that a bit with an update.

The bottom line for me, Apple did not ask my opinion, has never allowed regression, so I just learned to live with it. Clearly the target audience is a younger generation than mine. So I have adapted and like the features more than I dislike the appearance.

If you have a problem you want to discuss, why not start a thread of your own? You will get help if it is possible...changing the system none of us can do...and your own thread will get more attention.
