how do i uninstall IOS7

I have seen comments like the one you post since iOS first started.

So far Apple has not seen fit to satisfy your request for a download method for iOS yet.

I think that the situation is going to remain that way.

I updated it IOS7, innocently believing all would be ok. However, I oS7 eats up the battery, is slower than 6, and the graphics are poorly designed and not easy to read or use. I WANT MY OLD SYSTEM BACK!

Exceelnt idea, i want to dumb ios7 as soon as possible.

Seems like the current users were just fine with the colors.... there was no need to change them. This was to go after new customers...to gain market share and tell the rest us to just deal with it. It seems that the Iphone users that did not like the OS in the past years had left.... there was no demanding outcry to turn the Iphone into a Fisher Price-Skittle box. Add the ability to choose the colors you want your text bubble to be and we are pleasing both groups. Options... not making all the decisions for everyone seems to be the real issue here. Any plans to develp the option to choose fonts, text colors, etc??

I really don't think that's an accurate generalization. I've seen a number of long time users here in the forum say how much they like the new UI. I'm one of them.

Apple has never been keen on user customization. Although no one here would know what Apple's plans are for the future, I'd say the odds are against them making it possible for the user to tweak the interface.

Microsoft is doing a Iphone and Ipod buyback... maybe this is a good time to check out the other smartphones. Stop buying the products... then they will care.... that is with any company.

From what I have read, there are many great new features in IOS7. I've played with some on my kids iPhones. I love what they have done with the Camera and Photos apps. The new control panel is brilliant and offers easier access to commonly-used funcitons.

On the other hand, I would never buy an Android phone because I think they look cheesy. That is the same reason I won't upgrade. Nirvana would be to get IOS 7 functionality and IOS 6 design esthetic.

My Iphone did best meet my needs until this update.... I am sure there will be some options to change the colors, backgrounds.... the white backgounds.... If I can't read the text or the changes interfere with productivity, useage, and just the functionality. I guess this isn't the phone for me.

Given the fact that Apple has a history of not being terribly interested in allowing lots of user choice in the UI, this seems unlikely. But, only time will tell.

I wish I could go back, not because of the new UI. Mainly because my battery life went to crap and now I have no sound on my 4s. No ringer, no alarm, no keystroke clicking,no phone calls. What a joke.

I've seen many threads attacking people that are dissatisfied with the new IOS 7. For those who are huge IOS 7 fans or those who, for whatever reason, want to defend Apple even on bad decisions like Apple maps, please consider this....

Apple is forcing me to accept a product I do not like. This is done by lack of support for old IOS. This is done by coercing app providers to change to the new design. This is done by not allowing people to change back. This makes the situation very different. If I don't like an app, I can delete it and find a better one. If I don't like the IOS, I'm f**$^^#@ed.

And while I'm here...... I HATE IOS7! And I will be selling my phone if somethings not done to rectify all the issues that everyone is complaining about. No wonder Samsung is getting so many sales. They have me for a sale, that's for sure if things don't change soon.

Your phone worked fine with the old ios and will continue to work fine with the new ios. The only problem is apps that you like may not work sooner or later because the developers will update their apps to work witht the newer ios and then may not work with yours. Go ahead and sell your phone because apple isn't going back to the crappy old and outdated ios6 look.

You seem to be one of those "same people ranting over and over again". Also, 700 million downloads or not, we do not have a choice. All apps will update to follow with the opperating system and sooner or later your phone will not work properly if you do not update, so all those downloads have nothing to do with the popularity of IOS7 (as if you don't know that). IOS7 is a stain on the reputation of Apple and a U-turn with everything Apple stands for, but I still did the update. I do not want my phone not working properly, but I do have the freedom to NOT buy an Iphone next time.

Your phone will continue to work properly if you do not update. There are still people using the first iphone and it can't even go past version 2 of the ios software.

There is a thread everytime a new update comes out about battery life. Look them up to find solutions
