Yea, but the upgrade, on anything apple, has never completely changed the appearance, look, and experience of any of the OS's over night... then turned around and said, "There's no way to go back, or change it. Too bad for you!"

I saw screen shots, but I didn't study the iOS. Didn't think I needed to... Never saw anything about a "fade in" lock screen, "zooming" icons, and and that every single base app would have razor thin icons and text.

All I'm asking is a way to go back.

Please, go enjoy your new iOS. You love it? Great... I don't.

Just let me go back until I can either find switching tollerable, or decide to switch phones.

I had no idea it was going to be this radically different.

(Why is that out of line? I'm the one who has to experience the phone?)

It's called a strawman, and it's the way people who do not have a coherent argument try to bait someone into defending a position they haven't taken.

I have never in my life witnessed a situation like this iOS 7. Consumers voluntarily upgraded to something, that with a little research would have revealed whether it suited their taste. Then when it was too late, they take extreme positions against Apple, and its policies.

I for one like the upgrade, and like the appearance.

We lost a little functionality in audiobooks, and in video titles. But my expectation is that Apple will fix that with an update.

Yes yes yes. Its completely mind blowing that people did not take 5 minutes of their time to open Apple's home page and see what the new iOs was going to look like. It was there for over 2 months before its release.

Then they are surprised and bash it because they don't like it.

So immmediately what they don't like is an piece of crap and everyone that likes it is stupid for doing so, and Apple will automatically plummet into bankruptcy because a few people dislike their new direction. Ohh and we should all tremble because they will switch to Android.

True enough. This go-round I'm just puzzled as about the complaints of the design. Its not like screen shots even animation haven't been out there for weeks. And not just on Apple's website.

Sometimes I think people (at least some) just thrive on complaining and unnecessary drama.

People are finding that the actual experience is a lot different than screenshots and your comment assumes that people research this stuff. I saw many of the screenshots and read about the system. I had an idea of what it looked like and looked forward to downloading it. I HATED IT and immediately knew I made a big mistake. I was shocked at how poor the actual experience was, and I'm not talking about bugs.

Not everyone is an enthusiast about Apple. Many saw an update show up on their phone and they thought "Update? Apple is good, so I'm sure this is good and I want it." A buddy of mine had no idea what I was talking about when I told him there was an iOS 7 update, but he wanted it. I warned him the next day.

I don't think people are seeking out this forum and signing up to express their opinions unless they felt compelled to. The frustration is palpable. I do know that some posters feel compelled to support Apple, no matter what they do. That is exactly the Group Think that gave is iOS 7.
