I agree with you Stuarts. I downloaded 7.0 on my Ipad last night, trusting it would just be like the others, to run more efficiently. Had I known it was going to change the whole **** thing I never would have done it. I hate this upgrade. But, I don't have the money you have invested. I also have an iphone 4 but I paid $400.

I would be very upset if I were you. (But take it easy on the comments about the people in the States, please) We have a lot great people here.

I find it hard to believe there is no way to uninstall this mess and return me to the place I loved, the reason I bought the ipad in the first place.

It seems that the upgrade should work for everyone but clearly doesnt. I wonder what differences there are in manufacturing or individuals useage other than the obvious memory differences and apps that can make two iphones so significantly different.

Eg: my iphone 4s stopped charging, others have completely different faults. But theortically all iphone 4s's are the same so what are the differences that result in such a diverse number of failures?

Something allows one to work and another to fail? So why not allow regression if apple cannot verify that every phone is identical?

Actually Gail, is it really me criticizing two members on the board when I've just responded to several incredibly inappropriate comments you've made to and about people that have NOTHING to do with helping people on here. Who's thing troll precisely? With that said, you have made some comments that are knowledgable and helpful, but others that are so out to lunch and rather mean, that is gobsmacking. I see you have a rather high ranking on here, but it only come through the fact you appear to live on here and have nothing else better to do I thigh your life. I actually followed an entire thread of arguing with someone where your entire purpose dad to prove him wrong. Moderators and well respected forum leaders wouldn't ever do it. The fact that the Apple ones let you continue with your high and mighty self important attitude is a joke. To the rest of who have had to listen to me tell Gail from Maine what side the bread is buttered on, I will stop. Gail, for your sake, I hope you start treating people on here a little better. Notice I'm not the only one on here that has pointe out that you're rather unkind and condescending?

Yes....not just cheap, but a tween/teen designed version of my phone. What the heck happened to the mature phone I purchased that had a touch of class???

  • I can't even read messages - what is with the horrible green with white letters?
  • What's up with the opening screen words "slide to unlock" scrolling like a marquee - I could see the box?
  • The cheap pale lettering in the words.
  • I glowie icon colors hurt my eyes, not to mention the tacky look of the pictures.
  • It's like there's no contrast!

I have an iphone 4.
