iOS7 - my new photos not showing up in photostream

Thanks for the tip on the locked screen pics not showing up in the photo stream. That is definitely my issue. My workaround is to create a shared album of those pics, which pushes them up to the cloud.

I'm having this issue also, but never take pictures from the lock screen. I just noticed this today. There are only 100 picutres in my Photostream on my phone (but 1000 on Photostream on my MBP). Also, some pictures that I took today are not showing in Photostream.

I too am suffering from photostream problems. I am completely updated on both my iphone and macbook pro. Photo stream always worked until recently and I suspect the last update might have killed it.

Of the 50 or 60 photos I have taken in May, only a dozen appear on my mac. Nothing I have done has made these photos appear. Tonight I took several photos and two showed up on the mac but nothing more.

I really would appreciate a solution.

Same problem with my iphone 4s. Took pics with my iphone camera app. I never use the lock camera. The pics went to camera roll but not to photostream or icloud. I have to manually create another folder to push them to icloud on my MB Air, but I HATE having to do that when the technology is supposed to have it handled. I just got a new MB Air and am trying to get comfortable with the cloud. This glitch is NOT helping.

Yes, that's it! I took some photos from the lock screen - using the slide camera thing.... and they are not in my photo stream! So what do we do to get the photos in our stream?

Okay - I figured it out (after reading one other posts)... as soon as I joined a wireless network with my phone - all the pictures immediately began moving into the photo stream.

Has anyone uncovered a solution at all? I've been struggling with this issue for a while now, and it's getting more and more irritating. It's not the lock/unlock solution. And it has nothing to do with my PC, as images don't even show up in the "My Photo Stream" folding on my iPhone (4S, iOS7). And the problem is intermittent... sometimes photos show up, sometimes not.

So I did a few tests based on the thread replies here, and here's what I found.

First, a few parameters and setup:

- My iPhone 4S is already on a Wi-Fi network, internet connection is fast and stable.

- I'm judging whether photos are on my Photostream based on whether they appear in my "My Photostream" album

Do photos automatically get pushed to Photostream when I ...?

1. Unlock iPhone, open Camera app, take photo? YES

2. Slide up Camera from lock screen (but when iPhone wouldn't have asked me for Lockscreen password anyway)? YES

3. Slide up Camera from lock screen (while iPhone is password locked)? YES, but inconsistent

In scenario #3, it *****, but I managed to get those photos to show up later on, simply by shutting down the Camera app (double-press Home button and flick the Camera "card" away). I guess it's fixed now?
