Removing updated apps from updates in App Store

Apps that you have purchased will always remain in the purchased app area. This allows you to download them again at no charge should you want to. You cannot delete items from the previously purchased tab.

I think Apps that have updated will disappear the next day. Most of us have turned on auto app updates. Having the app remain in the update pane lets us know which apps got an update.

Like ralph9430 said, the apps do eventually disappear. I updated mine, closed App Store completely and 15 minutes later they were gone

Just exit the App Store App. They will be removed when you open the App again. Top make sure double tap the Home button and then swipe the App Sotre App up and away to close it.

Open it again and the updated apps should have been removed.

I have the same issue with updated apps not removing themselves after update. I have tried closing the app store and reopening but they still appear in the udpates area. I currenly have the auto updates off.

I tried both settings. The option didn't seem to affect the updates already there. 😐

I have the same problem. I have a Twitter app that was updated on the 18th and it's still showing today. Quite annoying as I have about 6 apps now showing in total that have all been updated. Surely these should disappear once once updated and opened the app??!

Same Problem here. my apps which have updated are still showing in the updates section with open next to them. I have deleted these apps and re installed and the same problem occurs. Very annoying.

I am having the same problem. I have an iPad 4, upgraded to the new OS and now I am experiencing this problem.

I am having the same issue. The apps are still showing no matter what settings I use, whether I close the App Store or not, they are still there. Definitely a glitch in iOS 7! Not very happy about this!

I am having the same problem. It is so annoying seeing my updated apps every time I go into the App Store!
