I have just installed iOS7 and now is my Airport no longer working. Very irritating. Has anybody an answer to this problem ?

Tip described by Sweberglund worked for me. Thanks Swe.

Scenario:

- Has worked for ages: AirPort Express 2004 + iOS 6 + some router with WPA/WPA2.

- Two things changed last week: iOS 7 + new router with WPA2 AES restriction.

- Tried reboot/reset/update of AirPort. No chance.

- Downgraded router's key encryption from WPA2 AES to WPA/WPA2 AES as suggested by Sweberglund. Worked immediately.

Not sure if this helps or not but I have a similar situation. My Airport Utility does not work with Mavericks. I have Airport Utility 6.0 installed. I have not been able to update my Airport Utility since Mavericks says I already have a more recent version. I tried to update with Airport Utility 6.3.2. When I try to run Airport Utility, Mavericks says that the version of Airport Utility I have installed is not compatible with Mavericks.

So I called 800 APL CARE.

Their advice is that I need to reinstall Mavericks. Should take at least an hour and one half. I am unable to delete the version of Airport Utility I have installed since it is tight;y coupled with Mavericks. So the only answer is to reinstall Mavericks which will install the most recent version of Airport Utility and make it work.

Not what I wanted to hear but I guess I need to carve out a few hours and reinstall Mavericks if I want Airport Utility to work.

The soution is easy but not obvious. Users Germantown and Boumbaier have it right above. Hopefully the following can clarify a bit.

With IOS7, Apple has moved the icon that is used to select output destinations for sound. This is the icon that looks like a rectangle with a small triangle at its base. It used to be that this icon appeared on the screen that showed what tune is playing in "Music" (and in other places within other apps). Used to be you would tap it and the choices for speakers and other output destinations like an airport express would appear.

This icon is no longer on the playback screen or in the Music app at all. It is now available at the system or IOS7 level, and is accessed by sliding open from bottom to top the new IOS7 window that Apple calls the "control Center". This is the gray window that slides open vertically by drawing your finger from the bottom to the top of IOS7's opening page and most other pages as well, including Music's "Now Playing page". On the opening page of IOS7, there's a visible handle at the bottom that you can slide upwards. On the "Now Playing page", there's no visible handle, but it still slides if you go through the motion, whereupon you'll see the rectangle with the traingle, waiting to be tapped to show the sound selections mentioned above.
