4s doesn't stop charging since Ios 7 installed?

Does anyone have this issue?

Previously to installing Ios 7, when my Iphone 4s (and other devices) was fully charged the icon would change from a lightning-bolt-on-the-battery "charging" icon to an electrical-plug-on-the-battery icon to signify both that it was done and that it had stopped charging, preserving the battery life.

Since installing Ios 7, the charge hits 100% but there's no icon change and, 20 minutes after it hit 100%, the phone is still hot indicating that it's still charging.

Is this the case for anyone else? Does this mean that I can't safely plug the phone in to charge overnight or I'll burn out the battery?

This is expected behaviour. As long as as the iphone is corrected to power it will show a lighting bolt.

iOS 7 changed this, iOS 6 and previous versions used to have a charger icon when full charged.

If you're phone is getting hot, as opposed to warm, while charging. you may have a hardware problem. You might want to have Apple take a look at it.

Best of luck.

Actually, Apple removed the battery animation in iOS beta 3 during the summer. So you won't see it now; I've examined my iPhone while it's charging, with several different wallpapers to make sure it wasn't an optical illusion, but there is no pulsing lightning bolt. Please note the date of that video - it was posted just prior to the beta 3 release on July 8.
