4s doesn't stop charging since Ios 7 installed?

So, there aren't any accurate answeres or explantions for this issue. The question is how on earth should we know that our phone is fully charged? Another point to mention is that even when it reaches 100%, and keeping it plugged in, it says under the time '100% Charged', I thought it might say something like 'Fully Charged' instead of the previous sign in older iOS, but it did not..

100% means the same thing as "Fully charged".

'Fully charged' used to make anyone content when they see that old sign...

I'm sorry but I don't understand that sentence.

100%, fully charged, done, whatever. They all mean the same thing.

When we see the old 'plug' sign, we feel content because we know it is fully charged instead of just 100%

Exactly. Still no closer to knowing if keeping it plugged in is absolutely wrecking our battery! Does ios7 automatically stop charging like ios6 did but just not tell us? This is a little worrying. Any ideas? 😕

Leaving it plugged in will not absolutely wreck your battery. When a iPhone (and just about every other current device with a rechargable battery) reaches close to fully charged, it switches to a trickle charge. Once the battery is fully charged, it stops and lets the battery discharge very slightly. This is why sometimes you see a battery indicator say something like 98% even after the device has been plugged in for long time.

The things that will wreck a lithium ion battery are extreme heat so don't leave it in your car in the summer, and draining it completely and then leaving it in a discharged state for long periods of time. Other than that, charge it when you need to or when you have the opportunity and don't stress about it. The likelihood is that you wil be buying a new phone long before the battery stops working.

For those who seem unfamiliar with what is being asked:

On iOS 6 and older, just because the phone reached 100%, didn't mean it was Fully Charged. The way you could tell was the lightning bolt symbol that indicated the device was charging would change to an outlet plug when the device was not only 100%, but also stopped accepting further charge. This symbol switch would occur anywhere from 5-15 minutes after the device already was displaying 100%.

Now, on iOS 7, while it still reaches 100% with that same lightning bolt charge symbol, during the 100% point, it never switches to the plug symbol to indicate the charge period is totally finished.

Can anyone confirm if there is a way to see this charge completion in iOS 7 since it appears that there is no longer a symbol for it? Is there any indication that Apple may have changed the charging display so that now it only displays 100% when it would have previously displayed that plug symbol?

There is one more important thing. Example: when my iPhone was charging in a car, and sun rays make battery too hot, I have seen charged status even when battery was not fully charged. Now I don't know if my iPhone get too hot or not.
