Hi again, I would do another Find and this time trash everything including the application. If you need to re-install the application then just use
Pacifist to extract it from you install CD, the new install should have the default settings. Since trashing the com.apple.Stickies.plist did not bring joy.
I do remember resolving this problem for someone a long time ago and I can not remember the solution. However it was not a startup issue, but it did take some time just first find it and then to turn it off thru the application.
The only thing I found in the Apple Reference files is the possibility of the stickies showing up from another User account. I don not think this is your problem, but the solution they gave is "If you encounter this Symptom, try force quitting Stickies by pressing the Command-Option-Escape key combination". So you could try this first.
