iOS 7 keep turned off my iCloud settings and asking my password

Hi,

I upgrade to iOS 7 the day before yesterday. Everything's fine until yesterday's morning. When I received a text message, I found it's shown under the tel number, rather than names from my contact list. Then I found all my setting in iCloud were turned off. I turned them on, and everything's fine after that. But today, it turned off all my settings again and stars to keep asking me sign-in my iCloud account. I checked my iCloud account settings, it seems correct for me. I can correctly get all the informations from iCloud. But it just keep asking my passwords...

Any ideas about this?

Thanks very much in advance,

could this be anything to do with change from @me.com to @icloud.com?

I am having this problem on my iPhone 4S. My wife is NOT having it on hers. We got them the same day, upgraded from IOS4 to 5 to 6 to 7 each time both on the same day.

She does not have the problem on her iPad.

We have different apps, etc.

When we got them, the flavor of AppleID du jour was @me.com

When it switched to @icloud.com some time ago, I started using that.

Is anyone (everyone?) else who is having this problem also now using @icloud.com but started with @me.com ?

nope,

I did not touch my @me email account

Did anyone else here have problems when updating from ios6 to ios 7?

When I updated, it failed and I had to do a factory restore from which I then had to restore from a backup.

It actually happened on all 3 of my devices, 2 x I4s and 1 Ipad 4. The ipad 4 is the only one that is not having this issue.

Hello, I have also been experiencing constant iCloud password requests on my iPad Mini. I have also had problems with Game Center not Loading on a game.

I have a personal iCloud account but a shared iTunes account so in effect have two different apple ids in my ipad. In iOS 6 it ran smoothly to have both of those.

I would be interested to know if any of you have the same setup and whether this is causing the confusion on our equipment?

Thanks!

Hi Folks,

just to update you. i have opened case with the support team.

This what we done so far:

1. Remove iCloud account from my device and readd it.

2. Erase the device and configure it as new.

3. Reset the AppleID Password.

4. Remove iCloud Account and readd the account using the iCloud Alias xxxx@icloud.com instead my primary mail.

5. Reset Network Settings.

After more then a week chats, they asked me to call apple care phone support and they will pass the bug to apple Engineers...

My iPad has been fine since I originally deleted and added my iCloud account. This morning shortly after unlocking my iPad I got this mesage:

"iCloud Backup requires that you verify your password"

I entered my password and the iPad started doing a backup, but failed. I stared the backup manually and it worked. It's been backing up nightly until today.

I think there's some kind of iCloud communication problem going on which triggers this.

Hi ya'll, at least I'm not having the same issue, at first I thought i wasn't connected for more than 3 hrs, but 6 days later which is today, i had the problem again but was connected to wifi this time but only affected Find My iPhone.

ya all can take a look see iCloud account disabled after not connected to wifi for 3-4hrs iOS 7.0.2

I have never had this issue untill iOS 7.0.2

I have iPod Touch 5G.

I'm from when @me was around and still use it with my main & @iCloud. I might try that idea and change that to @iCloud to see if that clears it but still doesnt help that my Multitask crashes and stops my either iTunes Radio or iHeartRadio from playing and have to strat over with a new song. besides the mutiple time my Safari crashes but has suddenly stop like it suddenly started.

Hello,

A buddy of mine came to me with this particular issue, since I aspire to be an Apple Genius I was tasked with fixing this issue for him, which I did. I want to help you guys/gals having this issue. I don’t know why this issue is occurring on iOS 7. My theory is when you upgrade to iOS 7 your iCloud account information on your devices no longer syncs appropriately. We need to re-sync your iCloud.

Open Settings > iCloud

Scroll down and select

Delete Account > Delete > Keep on My iPhone/iPod/iPad

Now close everything from multitasking and turn of your iPhone. Leave it off for 15-1 hour, which should be enough time for the servers or your device to have the last login session expire.

After time has passed turn your device back on, go to Settings > iCloud and sign in. Enable anything that has not been turned on.

This should solve your problems.

PS

Also my friend kept getting his settings turned off after playing clash of clans, for those who play clash you can also disable your game center if the problem continues. I hope this fixes your issue and if it does not or does please let me know. It is important to me to help those who are troubled. I apologize on behalf of Apple for having so many bugs.

Whilst I said earlier I never play clash of the clans, I did think of something that may be related - I've noticed this issue on 2 of my iOS devices in the house, an ipad 2 and ipad mini. I've never noticed the issue on any of the 3 iPhone 5s or ipad 3. Funnily enough the ipad 2 and ipad mini are used by my g/f and son and they play a lot of the same games. The iPhones and ipad 3 are never used for games. So whilst we don't have clash of the clans, maybe it's another game causing it? They both play hay day and candy crush a lot, which both use Facebook to sync your game...

Hello Markmc,

Hay day is a game made by the same company as Clash of Clan (super cell) would be very intresting if its a bug in their coding causing all the issues. But yet again, why would a third party game be able to disable iCloud features or any feautre on iOS? Must be a bug. I don't believe it would be a facebook issue. Have you tried my solution? Another theory could be game center as I stated above, while trying to access iCloud causes a denial and thus all features are turned off. But I am no expert, I can only fix or find work arounds.
