iPad won't remember usernames and passwords after iOS 7 upgrade?

Ever since I upgraded I have to re-enter my password and username on all of my sites. They would remember me before. I do not have this problem on my iPhone just my ipad. Any suggestions?

iPad 2, iOS 7

ME TOO!!!!! I have all the appropriate "Passwords & Autofill" settings turned on, and the information I previously asked it to remember is listed under "Saved Passwords," but all login pages are blank when I navigate to them (both on my iPhone and iPad.

I even deleted them and tried them fresh, but when I select "Go" after entering usernames and passwords, the devices no longer prompt me as to whether or not I wish to remember them.

Frustrating!!! Hope this is a quick bug...

GEEZE, just saw this answer and it worked. I can now save logins and passwords. Just when I had given up! Thanks all!

Oh my gosh--I feel like a total idiot. The solution is TURNING OFF PRIVATE BROWSING! That may have been the problem the entire time. That we pas mentioned somewhere, but I thought it was done in Settings and that I had it off--but it's not, and I didn't. Open Safari, touch + to open a new tab, then look for and touch "Private" in the bottom left corner. That opens a window that allows you to turn io private browsing. After that, your log-in sites will open the window asking if you want to save the password. Passwords are saved and still fill when you turn private browsing back on. Apologies to Dragon4486 if he mentioned and assumed we were proficient enough to have realized this.

My wife had the problem with her IDs and passwords. On her iPad (iOS 9.2), the "Private" setting is accessed by clicking on the tab tiling button at top right. The "Private" button, then revealed at top right, was black text in a white cartouche. Clicking it changed it to white text on black. After clicking "Done", IDs and passwords were then remembered by Safari. Thanks to Ckmclen and others who contributed.
