Melodyne claims to be able to do it, and I think Logic might too. I'd have to see it to believe that anything outside of a monophonic recording can be converted.

Single voice, yeah, absolutely. Guitars, drums, voice and a singer all mixed together? Not buying it.

as an alternate solution you can look for midi files of the tunes you want on the net, there are tons of sites, some free some not. Or if you have a good ear or can find the score you can transcribe it to midi yourself.

The problem with that is that once you get them IN to GB, you can't get them out again B-(>

Dude, I have the same phone and got it to work. You need to go to your bluetooth status (up top, right) and say browse device. Then go to your "my musics" [sic] folder and drop the mp3 in there.

Once you go to settings/sound settings/incoming call/ringtone/my music/ on your phone, you should be able to add it as a ringtone. The d807 supports mp3's under 192bit, no VBR.

You can use mp3 ringtones with the Samsung d807. You just have to trim the file size down to 600k or less (so using the whole song is obviously not an option). The free Audacity program should do the trick.
