82% adopted but many are regretting now, as it shows all over the internet…
No it's not speculation I'm using apple for 15 years and I got accustomed to beautiful design this new ios is simply eyesore, guess it's improvement if you moved from windows but not for someone used to good looks.
I ABSOLUTELY KNOW that the new design is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!

Huh, I've had Apple products for quite a bit longer than that and think that iOS 7 is extremely pleasing.
It boggles my mind that people assume that their preference is somehow the only right one. Probably has something to do with the failure of science education so apparent in this country.
Some older people have troubles with the iOS7 new look: it is too "flat" for them. If that is you, you have to change some settings in settings/general/accessability. 👿.
I, however, like it very much.

I agree - I too am selling my Macbook Pro, iPad, and iPhone 5. Why? To use a metaphor - it's like I took my Porsche into the shop for an oil change and was given a Ford to replace it. And no I'm not allowed to keep my Porsche, I have no option but to accept the downgrade and move on.
I was holding out hope that Apple realized it made a mistake and would fix it with IOS8. Now I read that OSX appearance is being changed to follow the IOS7 aesthetic. To me that was the last straw! It's sad that a company who once pioneered UI design par excellence is now turning out software that would flunk basic UI design school. E.g., yellow text on white background (Notes); some controls shown as underlines, others as buttons, still others as icons; no visual clue as to whether images are adornments or controls (Airplay); commands rendered as icons beneath other icons representing applications. I could go on but dont want to rant. Instead I will follow others' lead and move on to another platform.
I could not agree more. The Apple UI is a text book example of bad UI design accepted by the brainwashed. None of my family or friends can do the simplest operation on the ipad or iphone without someone showing them how to do it. Possibly the most Unintuative GUI ever devised, from my 30 years of experience as an IT professional. And the competition (samsung, microsoft) follows them with every more bad design, creating little alternative. Its TheEMPERORS NEW CLOTHES of this century.
I did that, I posted the feedback to Apple to ask if apple can provide the choice to the Customer, the end user can choose flat or skeuomorphism style, that would be good for everyone.
In my opinion, the intimate,'real' look of the Apple style on iOS6 and the security of iOS that attracts me a lot.
without it's uniqueness style, and the security, apple product doesn't worth that price.
Now apple join the group of flat style, like Windows phone and Android.
Previously, I was eager to get an Apple product, now I don't have that desire.
Exactly, Apple already foreseen that, that's why iOS7 can't be downgraded back to iOS6, as long as an iOS7 update release which allow user to downgrade to iOS 6, I'll undoubtedly downgrade to iOS6.
OSX goes flat now......
Considering how much the new UI was publicized before its release it's hilarious you are now on here complaining about it and want to 'downgrade' to 6. Why didn't you just leave at 6 to begin with? It shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone.
Yes, the reason I didn't keep iOS6 is because I want the system to be up to date, so there is no security issue, and I didn't noticed that I can't downgrade back to iOS6, another reason is new system has new features which is really good, I just can't stand the design, but I like the new features.
They can't please everyone. No matter how many options they put in there there'll be someone that says I still don't like this or that then come on here and complain to the other users of which none of us work for Apple anyway.
You're right, I'll zip my mouth, and I noticed that , in Apple community, it's always the Level 1 posters who complained most on this, maybe our thought haven't reach a much higher level, I must learn from higher level's opinion and getting mature to post here.
Thanks for your comment and have a nice day 🙂!
First off, the fact that Apple Doesn't Live Here and little or nothing we discuss makes it to the boardroom or the engineering dept makes these forums just a means to reduce costs by having us higher levels reduce the workload of their support call centers. We've learned to avoid venting too much since it serves for naught and may even get your post or your person booted from the place. Oddly, the Apple-employed mods DO live here and may take a zealous approach to their functions.
In retrospect, I'd hazard that this is not much different from other makers. Doubt that user gripes have had much bearing in the design of Android, Win8Mobile, BB or other systems. Only until the ship is in flames and fast circling the drain do they desperately try and do something to ingratiate their lost cause with the long-gone users. Just take a look at the vanished Palm, foundering Blackberry or even Microsoft's blunder into the mobile world, aka Nokia (once King of the Hill). As per the latest Wall Street news, Apple is awash in cash and lightyears away from such a spot.
