Control center ios 7 music controls not working help

Hey,

If you had an active passcode when you did the upgrade... well, even if you had not, try it anyway...

1) deactivate pass the passcode

2) in settings/Control Centre deactivate access on Lock Screen

3) restart device

4) reactivate access on Lock Screen

5) check if player works on locked screen, restart device one more time if not

6) you can now reinstate the pass code

Posts when I originally upgrade with my iPhone 4. Had the problem and all the solutions so far have not worked or they are only temporary fixes. Just got my iPhone 5s yesterday and I am having the same problem again. When activating my phone I set it up as a new phone and did not transfer old backup information.

I think this proves that it is an ios 7 mistake and not an app problem. Also please stop posting about resting the phone to factory setting as this really is only a temporary fix. Please only post things people havnt tried yet.

Your response wasn't helpful at all. This isn't a lock screen problem. It's a problem with the music controls, mostly with a failure to recognize the playback controls on the earbuds/earpods.

Thank you! It solved the problem for me, I can now finally use my music controls when the iphone 5 is locked.
