Blurry camera and pics after ios7!! Help!

Yes, definetly tried taking photos without the case on it. It didn't help at all.

I finally gave up after trying so much troubleshooting. Returned my phone. The replacement phone has ios 7 and the pictures are fine. It is a MAJOR software problem. Very irritating.

I'm waiting for an iOS update to fix this problem. Apple, anyone listening??

Try taking a photo not using HDR. I think that will solve the problem.

HDR seems to use a different aperture size or shutter speed so any movement at all makes photos blurry. Also, lighting is different.

I haven't had a chance to explore the good things that can be done with HDR but that will be fun.

I've tried both taking w/ and w/o HDR, no improvement. Not sure of the logic even if not using HDR made for a better image. You'd still be handicapped of full camera features w/ no HDR.

I've set an appointment at the apple store for next Tues. if they can't fix the software they need to hand me a new phone w/ software ( and a camera) that works.

Does not change the blurry image.

Even my photos are blurry & cloudy after ios7 update

Before the update I carried my iPhone 4S as my camera now I am actually carrying a different camera to take photos

Apple should do something and really fast - missing Steve Jobs as no action yet from Apple

My iPhone 4, my wife's 4s, my mother-in-law's iPad mini, anyone who has updated and I've happened to ask has notice the same thing. I find the camera useless now. Great, I can quickly take 20 shots, but if they're all blurry who cares? I hope they fix it soon!

Blurry image on my 4s consistently since loading IOS7. I think its due to the new Burst Mode which doesn't allow you to hold your finger on the shutter to set image & frame and then release to take the picture. HIGHLY FRUSTRATING when it rolls off 7-10 shots that are predominantly blurry. Apple are you listening? I hope they make the Burst mode optional. The software is definitely getting in the way of the improved optics.=

When I updated to ios 7 on mine 4s I didn't notice immediately, that rear camera won't focus. I thought it was my broken camera, so I replaced it. It didn't help. So I took my friends jailbroken 4s with 6.1.2 and swapped camera modules. His good camera module stopped focusing on mine 4s, but mine module started to work perfectly in his phone!! Apple, it's definitely your bug!

MMine is also blurry but if I reverse the camera it's fine.

Here is what you need to do all. Take your phone to your local apple store. and get a replacement iphone. This update issue causes a hardware issue with the rear camera.

I just came from the apple store. After a reset the camera still didn't work. They replaced my iPhone 5 (not 5s but the original) even though it was about 3 months out of warranty. They said it was a hardware issue. Quick and easy just make sure you backup your phone before going in. I'll sync my apps tonite. I'm happy. The good folks at Apple took care of me :-).
