iOS 7 took away the ability to play videos continuously.

iOS 7 took away the ability to play videos continuously. I have some TV shows my daughter watches and use to be able to hit play all. Now you can only do one at a time. Any idea how do change this?

We used that function every day for our son (Little Einsteins TV Shows). Ok, so they did remove it for now, but I figured out a way to make it work in the interim. Go to the TV Shows that you're watching. Select them, right click, GET INFO, OPTIONS, then change it from TV SHOW to MUSIC VIDEO. It will then move the selections over to your music section. It's ok, you can always move them back when the fix is made on 7.0.x... The picture size won't be full screen, but it does allow you to shuffle or play thru continuous. I did it on our iPad 2nd Gen and works fine. Just not the same, but better than not at all. Hope this helps.

This might not have anything to do with it, but power down your iPad, then power up. Click on the "MUSIC" app. Click on "PLAYLISTS". You should see "MUSIC VIDEOS". Click on that. Click on the top video. Top Center, you'll see "MUSIC VIDEOS" in Black Font. To the right of that, it says "NOW PLAYING". Click on that. It should be there. Make sure you have "SHUFFLE" clicked. Just to be sure it's continuing, run the timeline to the right until you're at the end, and let it run out to 00:00, and verify that it's moving to the next episode.

I hope this helps! If not, please let me know, and I'll back track every step until you're seeing it.

ps-can't go a day without Annie's singing! lol

Thanks you gmcclimans! I use my ipad2 to play Mickey Mouse and Sofia the First for my daughter on long car rides. I was bummed that apple took away the play all button! But I used your advice and moved them all over to music video and it works great! Thanks for the fix...hopefully apple will get it together and fix this in the next update!

Hello, I'm desperately trying to make this work - same problem with little one watching peppa pig in the car, and they're only 5 minute episodes - nightmare! Cannot understand why they would remove the play all feature.

I'm probably being daft but I can't figure out how to select all and right click to get to the 'get info' bit.

Would really appreciate any help!!

HI MsNess. I'm sorry if it's a bit confusing. I think I did this late night, hoping to have it ready for my wife and little guy the next morning. Ok, lets start from the beginning. Open iTunes. Make sure you're in the TV Shows section (should be a drop down on the upper left of the iTunes screen that allows you to select TV Shows). When you're there, select the TV Shows on the list. If you haven't selected multiple shows before, click on the first show, then go to the last one on your list, hold down the Shift key and Left click your mouse. That will select more than one episode at the same time. If you're having a hard time, it's Ok, you can do it individually. After you've pick one or all at the same time, right click on your mouse. From the top down, go to the 4th selection, "Get Info" and click on that. When that box opens up, click on Options, then look at "Media Kind". It should show TV Show. Click on TV Show and you'll now have multiple options. Select Music Video, then click on OK at the bottom right. This will remove your selected files from the TV Show listing and put it over in your "Music" section of iTunes. When you click on "Music" from the drop down on the top left of the iTunes screen, you'll see Playlists beneath. Click on Music Video's. All of your TV Shows are now there. Make sure these are selected when you sync your iPad. When you do open them in your iPad, remember, they will be in Music, and not Videos. When you open the Music app, go to Playlists, and there they are. There's a Shuffle selection you can chose as well. If you only get audio, just look up on the top right and click on Now Playing. You should see your TV. I'm sorry for the long message but hope this helps. Please let me know if you're still having trouble and I'll help you thru. Also, don't worry about moving these to the Music section. When Apple fixes this situation, you'll just reverse them back to TV Shows, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Good luck!

Gmcclimans, you are a total legend, I can't thank you enough. That's all worked perfectly, hoorah! Thank goodness for these forums and for lovely people like you who are happy to spend time helping others. My car journeys will be peaceful and happy again!

Really appreciate it.

PS. I have also just bought an episode of Little Einsteins, never heard of it before!

Thank you so much for this - especially gmcclimans. Saved the day!

For everyone using itunes on a Mac - there is no right click. Select the episodes as above, but instead of right clicking to achieve the drop down menu with "get info", use the shortcut "cmd i" (the command key and the letter i at the same time) it does the same thing.

Thank you!!
