Today i bought a new iphone 5s and front faceing camera is not working properly when i use the Hangout or Skype Apps. Please check the below screenshoot. any suggestions? i reset my phone multiple times but still same issue.

Take it back to the Store.
It works fine while using FaceTime but not working on Hangout and SKype. i hope apple support team take a look and find the issue insted of telling me that it works fine in FaceTime. 🙂

Thanks for your inputs. i will take my iphone 5s to apple store tomorrow and hope it will get resloved.
I am experiensing the same issue with my iphone 5s. Looks like a common issue.
Please let me know what they tell you at the apple store !

Exactly same problem here with the 5S. The front camera seems to work fine with other applications. If it's not a general problem, could it be due to a bug, to the iphone or to an issue with the application? I downloaded the last version. Please let me know what they tell you.
Today i reported this problem in AppleStore and they didn't find any issue with device. After some discussion, they have given me new iphone 5s but still same issue with new device. it looks like issue with Hangout and Skype apps.
I have contacted skype support and they mentioned that they are aware with the issue and try to fixing it as soon as possible.

Please update for hangout. I am sure ..Apple has sold 9 Billions device and none f them would be able to use hangout Front camera.. 🙂
Yes, Its working for skype.
I got aslo same problem on my iphone 5s while facing video call on wechat. But in Skype it's ok.
During video call in skype, the iphone 5s gold front camera sometimes blink once or twice, Just a second maybe or faster.
What it was doing?
Is it normal?
or is it hacking sign?
