I have a PowerMac I was not using for a long while. It runs on OSX 10.4.11 because of its stability with FCP Studio. Now I need to upgrade it for other apps, but it's not Intel. How far can I go OS wise?

Leopard was the last for PPC Macs... but don't know where you would get it... maybe ebay... may be expensive... maybe not enough to run the Applications you want.

You can go no further than 10.5.8 depending on your actual hardware model. PowerMac Quicksilver G4s and later can run 10.5.8.
Restore Tiger 10.4 & Leopard 10.5 DVDs are available from Apple by calling 800-767-2775 as of January 20, 2013. Collect your Mac's serial number. Prepare you credit card for a workout. There is a reasonable fee.
