As the person who started this whole discussion, I have to say, appleuser1322, I really appreciated your response to that "trendy" person.
It is all well and good being trendy, but for goodness sake the OS of the iPhone and iPad is something that will be used by a wide variety of people, with varying physical capabilities and afflictions, and therefore the design should cater for these.
OK if Apple now want the default interface of iOS 7 to be fluid, mobile, very white, bright and difficult to read with thinned down text, poor definition of keyboard and keypad and App commands that are like a gossamer thread fair enough. But, and this is a very BIG but ~ the Accessibility feature should have been enhanced so that people who become nauseous when viewing the icons zooming across the screen, or the Apps closing by whizzing to the side, again with a rapid zoom effect, would give an option to stop this and select a zoom from the centre of the screen or fade option.
I would also suggest that the Accessibility menu should offer a choice of fonts and the option to select the 3D effects and colour scheme that made iOS 6 so much easier to see in bright light conditions than iOS 7
The "trendy" person is fortunate not to be affected by motion sickness or other problems triggered by visual stimuli. I can assure him it is a most unpleasant experience.
I am surprised at Apple ever passing iOS 7 through the beta testing phase in its present form. I cannot imagine these problems arising if Steve Jobs was still at the helm.
