how do I add items to the ios 7 reminders app
How do I add items to reminders for ios 7. I see how to add lists but not how to add items to a list.

Just tap on the note pad and the keyboard will pop up. There is no + button in iOS 7.

This IS a MAJOR design flaw. I've been using Apple products exclusively at home since 1993. I vary rarely if ever need to "RESEARCH" regarding how to use a feature in an Apple applications. Taking away the "+" sign to add a new task forced me to waste 30 minutes of my time. I use Microsoft products at work an they are always adding features just for the sack of "adding new features". Please Please Please tell me that Apple isn't becoming the new Microsoft!!!!! :-(
I persist with Reminders app because i can add to my default list by talking to Siri. But it really is very poor design. Worst fault is absence of + button within lists to allow adding reminders to top of lists (What a no brainer !!!). This is inconsistent with the apps kwn internal design as the + sign IS there for creation of new lists!
Other faults:
- No visual clue that reminders can be added to the blank line at the bottom of lists.
- No ability to hold and drag reminders in the iOS app. Inconsistent design as you CAN do this in the desktop version.
- Poor location of notes field. This field should be directly under the title as it is the most frequently used field.
- etc etc
Apple app designers really dropped the ball on this one.
Lots of other apps can work with Siri (using Reminders as a conduit). I use Remember the Milk.
