Unable to move and scale photos for wallpaper on IPad mini after iOS 7 update.

After update to iOS7 on my IPad mini, I am able to select my personal photos for the wallpaper, but I cannot move and scale them to fit. The option is there but unresponsive. I already had to remove the protective case to access the new control panel via up swipe which must begin below the screen next to the "home" button to initiate. Now I can no longer personalize the wall paper with my own photos. It's been a frustrating experience without any real perceptible improvements.

I tried the suggested fix without any success. The image will move, but will not scale. It reverts immediately upon completing pinch and removing fingers from screen.

If it dosn't work you can edit a photo placing the object you want in the center. Use that photo for wallpaper, then go back to photos and restore your picture to it's original size.

Come on Apple, fix your bugs. The IOS 7 interface is nothing to brag about. Earlier OS's were nicer and things worked. This solution didn't work for me, either.

Works so well on iPhone but not on the iPad mini. How awkward! I ended up adding a big fat black border in Photoshop. Then the 'move' let me get the framing I wanted.

This is exactly what I am seeing also. I was able to successfully scale on my iPhone 5, but not my new iPad mini with Retina display.

Caderly's solution of using the InstaFix app worked perfectly. Only a couple more taps than using the picture directly from one of my albums. Oh yeah, the app is free. Thanks.🙂

Instafix is not a perfect solution as the clarity of the wallpaper gets blurred.
