"You Have 3 Apps to Accept" ?

When I click "Puchases", the resulting display has a section headed "You Have 3 Apps to Accept" (see the attached screenshot) User uploaded file

I already have those apps installed, not via the App Store but from several releases of the OS over the years.

When I click "Accept", the standard dialog appears asking me to enter my AppleID & password.

I do, and the "Accept" button dims, and a busy cursor appears. After a *long* wait, the "busy" cursor disapears and the "Accept" button turns dark grey again.

Nothing else.

Clicking it again brings up the signin dialog again, and the whole process repeats. Over & over again.

Shut the computer down and reboot, open the App store, and nothing has changed -- the same "You have 3 Apps to Accept" message.

Help!

Um, wow. I have this issue too, on my MacBook Air running Yosemite, but not my iMac running the same. But to be clear, the listed apps remain installed on both computers, there is no persistent/incorrect update alert or badge appearing, and they launch and work fine. This is quite a bit different than, say, the other issue that old installs of the pricey Remote Desktop triggering the update badge that won't go away: Apple Remote Desktop update issue in Yosemite

In this case, it's really just a few lines of screen real estate being taken up on the top of then App Store's "Purchased" tab. And it's a Store server-side issue that I am confident Apple will address properly... eventually. It's not worth getting worked up over, it's certainly not worth "throwing your Mac at the wall and going back to Windows" for, either.

It's a cosmetic issue and not a big deal in the slightest. Why not just ignore it for now? Is it really impacting you, realistically and practically speaking, that much that you feel the need to destroy your Mac and switch platforms? Try to maintain healthy perspective here. Life's too short for anything less.

The issue has been fixed for me. Ttonight I see a whole new design/aesthetic in the Purchases and Updates tab of the App Store. And yes, the top section that previously was telling me I needed to "accept" iPhoto and iMovie (and that would refuse when I clicked, telling me they were already accepted) is now gone. Huzzah!
