siri is still accessable on lock screen

No because it's all set to OFF so NOTHING can be accessed from the lock screen at all and we have already tried another finger that is not registered to unlock the phone and Siri still comes up but with the phone locked!

Then there is something wrong with your phone.

There's some sort of bug as it's now stopped doing it since I've switched OFF "Home Control" in "Allow Access When Locked" When that's nothing to do with Siri... So it may not be my phone...

I'm not seeing that problem on my phone. So, maybe it is your phone.

Well doing what I did above solved it and it may be an error with the latest update if I'm not the only one to experience it. Oh well...

I have home control turned on for my device, so that is not the reason. If you have Siri turned off for the lock screen, and you are using a finger that is not registered for Touch ID and pressing and holding the home button is bringing up Siri, there is something wrong with your particular device. I would restore the iOS to factory, then test the settings. After that you can restore your backup. See if that changes it. If you are not using Home Control, then it really doesn't matter if you leave it off, but there seems to be an issue with your particular device.

That is up to you, but if you have to turn off something unrelated to get your device to work correctly, something is wrong with your device.

Still could be something wrong with the update. You never know. They're always not 100% working for everyone from day 1. That's why I look forward to the bug fixes in the next update. cheers...

Then it would be happening to everyone or, at the very least a lot of people. It's not. However, if you're content to wait for the next update in the hopes that it will fix this, that's certainly your option. However, it is highly unlikely that there will be a "fix" for this in the next update. It is possible that the process of updating will eliminate some corruption but, you could do that yourself now.

Sort out the issue that Siri is still accessible on lock screen even when turned off in settings. I have the same problem. When holding down the home button with a finger that does not have a finger print on record, Siri comes up. I've tested your theory by having my boyfriend hold my home button down. He does Not have finger print access to my Touch ID. Siri still comes up for him On my lock screen and I have that toggled off

Yes I have the same issue. Siri will still come up on lock screen even when disabled. I have Touch ID and when my boyfriend holds down the home button, he does not have a registered fingerprint, Siri comes up for him.

No, it's not. It's being activated when you use your finger that's registered for TouchID.

I just tested it on my iPhone 7. I had it on before. I just turned it off, and using a finger not registered to Touch ID, it just went to Try Again. It will not start Siri holding down the button on the lock screen. I turned it back on, and using a finger not registered to Touch ID, it will invoke Siri. What other settings do you have on for Siri?

What troubleshooting have you done to try and correct the issue?
