I have an iphone 4, and just upgraded to iOS 7. My group messaging isn't working anymore! I can still send a message to multiple people, but their replies come seperately under their individual names, rather than to the group. I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it. I've checked everything under settings>messages and I can't see anything that might be stopping it... any ideas?

So when you goto Settings > Messages > Group messaging is toggled on??
With the new iOS I don't even have that under the settings for messages anymore...
That's odd... I'm not 100% sure but it's possible that Apple removed that feature from older phones with iOS7... that would be an odd move but it does happen that when new OS versions hit, they remove certain features from older devices that are still technically supported like iP4
If that option is no longer there then that's the problem for your current issue... I just dont know if it not being there is normal or not...

I'm not sure about the function, but on my 4S if I go to Settings>Messages and scroll down, there is a heading SMS/MMS and there is a toggle for Group Messaging.
If you are not seeing this in yours, you might want to try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. Check to see if you have the setting after that. Note, this will not affect data.
For whatever it's worth, my iPhone 4 also does not have a switch for Group Messaging under SMS/MMS on iOS7. Not sure that two insrances is a trend, but it's not a counterexample.
I'm having the same issue now that I've upgraded to IOS7. Help! This is so frustrating as I use the group message option to organize carpools nearly every day. Now no one can read the message replies from others -- only I get them and I can't figure out why. I have 4S phone and I have the group messages toggled on in settings. Is it possibly need a setting change on the recipient's phone? I know one of them uses an android phone. No idea where to even begin!

I have the same issue. My group message MMS was working until this morning. My group messaging toggle is on. I restarted the phone and tried again. NO GO! I am trying to use iMessage but that has been shady too. Any real inside help?
I have an iPhone 5. My group messaging works, but I am no longer getting the icon indicating its a group message. That icon helps me as I reply to the group messages on a regular basis and it's so much more easily identifiable as a group message with the icon. Please return the (or an) icon to this feature!!!! Thanks!!!!
Same problem: upgraded to iOS 7 on iPhone 5 and Group message stopped working. It is a vital function for me as I'm using constantly with my business partners...
Any solution? Or just go back to iOS 6 maybe?
Ever since I have gone to iOS7 my iMessage has been buggy and now my group messaging and non iPhone texting is not working. How do I fix it??? Ive tried everything i could think of.... restarted phone, toggled off and on messaging options.... and nothing.

I'm just using Viber Group message now instead, works perfectly as it was in iOS 6...
I had the same problem on my iPhone 5 iOS 7. I fixed it by disabling, and then enabling the "Group Messaging". If you go to Settings|Messages, there is the Group Messaging option. The issue I encountered by doing this was that all pending messages were delivered individually when this option was disabled. But once you enable it, you get the group messages again as a group.
