You're welcome and good luck.
iPhone restore didn't fix it. So I`ll do a factory reset and restore tomorrow (its 5:30am here now 🙂 )
Right I have updated to 7.0.2 and done a full factory restore on the 4S then restored my last backup.
Still a no-go on the 'Add Address' in My Contacts.
Don't think there is any place to go from here other than report it as an official bug.
maybe your backup is corrupted.
Try restore as new, test and if ok add your content back manually.
Well it's possible I guess. But it must also be the same deal with my bosses IPhone 5 as he can't enter an address either. I'm going to ask around other friends with ios7 installed and see how they are getting on.
i was able to add two address to my contacts, now it's not working again. did a factory restore and it's still not working. I think it's an iOS7 bug. i went and ask around and no one with iOS7 can add address to their contacts.

No it's not a bug, otherwise I should have it too. There are also many millions using IOS 7, don't you think this forum will be filled with posts?
Erm... it is a bug. I have since asked several people on a group in facebook and everyone who came back to me said they had the same issue. I don't believe that everyone has a corrupt backup or whatever.
The bug is there, it is not affecting everyone but, for whatever set of circumstances it need to manifest itself, it is clearly an issue. An issue that was NOT there in 6.1.3.
It doesn't affect iPAds only iphones. But just because everyone isn't suffering does NOT mean it's not a bug.
This clearly is. Too many people have it for it not to be.
A bug is not how you want to define it.
If it's a bug, every iPhone should show the same symptom like the IOS 7.0.2 update fixes the passcode bypass bug.
Well we will have to disagree on this one. I've seen umpteen bugfixes for things that read "Fix for those having issues with..." which doesn't necessarily refer to everyone.
So you think that Apple should not be made aware of this issue ? It's all down to the users ?
Yes, example IOS 7.0.1 is only for the new iPhone 5c & 5s.
Ok, no point talking, send your feedback here
Really ? Well I have iOS 7.0.2 on my iPad AND my IPhone 4S.
I had the same issue. The problem occurs when another application (eg Messages or Safari) has opened keypad. It's not necessary to restart your phone - just turn off that app (or close keypad):
- double-press the control button
- scroll through opened apps and look for application that has keypad visible at its screenshot
- swipe-up this app to close it.
- voila! - you can now edit inputs in "Create new contact" form.
Had a similar problem with the 'add address' not working in contacts. In the end I found that there is a discrepancy between the availability of certain countries/regions in the international setting used to set up the iPad and the country/ regions in the address country selector
Try going to settings > general > (time) international > region format and selecting a slightly more general country format that may occur also in address look ups.
There is a mismatch between the two which appears to be causing the 'bug'.
(The example I had was selecting a channel island in international, where it's not available as a country in addresses)
Hope this helps
