Does anyone dislike IOS 7 as much as I do?

And double-clicking pretty much does the same thing in iOS 7 as it did in iOS6. Sounds like your issue is with the case, not the OS.

Double clicking in the past allowed you to get to control center if after you double click and you swipe to the right. I assumed thats what he meant. So much hostility here. I wonder if any of you would talk to each other this way in person.

I have had the new update for about 5 weeks on my iphone and can't really get used to it. The calendar is far too complicated, keys on the keyboard are too small and I dislike the whiteness.

Some features may be better but the design is not so good. I am not updating my ipad and wish I could get rid of the constant reminder.

I would disagree. However, what I do know for certain is that almost no one here cares whether or not you like iOS 7. This is a user-to-user technical support forum. That's what you get when the company you deal witgh elects to loose faith with its supporters. I have elected to make certain every one I know is aways of the before (IOS 6) and after (IOS 7) "improvement" Apple perpetrated on it's faithful. Hopefully their sales will drop off to the point they get the message. BTW if you upgrade to the Maverick (the NEW iMAC IOS) you'lll see they've removed much of what Apple became an known for and remained the industery leader. It's almost as though they are taking lessons from Microsoft. Last time I was confronted with such lack luster, but efficient, firmware/software was on a manufacturing assembly line. If I'd wanted that lackluster interface I'd have bought a PC

Thanks, John, for letting us know about your experience. I wonder if Apple even reads this? I can't even find a way to voice my opinions to the company. I agree with you here, too, about the voice which has changed and I want IOS 6 back. I believe that the Apple organization has lost its creativity, its understanding of consumer wishes and they have become boring. My Ipad simply does not function the way it did in the beginning pre-IOS 7 and ti also gets hot now if I leave it on without working on anything. Nothing like that happened before. Sad company!

I completely agree this new OS is awful! I have an iPhone 4 and a third generation iPad but won't update. It looks like cheap Japanese anime just can't stand it. I was hoping iOS 8 would fix this but it doesn't sound like it from what I have read. Even Mac OS 11 might go this way well won't have to worry about upgrading anything from now on.

I agree, and what bothers me the most is that there seems to be no recourse to Apple itself. They will not respond to queries, even if you are fortunate enough to contact a person. It seems as though they simply do not care. And, I have used Apple products for the past 25 years. Love the product (until now), but strongly frustrated by the company and their lack of response to consumers. I cannot even use my IPad (4th generation) for more than a day without having to charge it (with this IOS 7) and I need to turn it off every time I use it because it overheats. Creative? Something is inherently wrong with the developers...too much technocracy and not enough "people" skills😕

I agree with you. I have written a number of times to Apple. There's no one there. I am sorry that I gave my Android to my grandson. I am so glad that we have this forum. It is too bad the company doesn't even listen. Maybe a boycott might help😀

The Feedback link specifically states they won't answer. Were you under the impression that emailing or submitting feedback would lead to some sort of instant change?

Feel free to boycot. The twenty million plus other people will be enjoying their phones.

Realistically Apple not responding just shows you how terrible customer service Apple has. Why would that person give a single F what 20 million other people think. That is an unhappy customer trying to express their frustration and anger on a product that they expect more from. I don't see anything wrong with it but if you do, hey to each their own.

I like it and hate it at the same time. I like how everything looks clean and simple iOS 7 feels and the new fun way to quit apps in multitasking. What I hated was the software was still glitchy in some minor places, like sluggish animations, some occasional sound problems. Although I agree some the new icons look rather ugly (the Safari icon for example) I haven't had an issue with the typography.
