Does anyone dislike IOS 7 as much as I do?

I run windows on my computer and I do need to back my phone up again I have once since the update. I also close the apps by throwing them off top of screen. I do use my wifi from home. Thank you for your help

My battery use to last 3 days... not on the phone much... This morning I unplugged it and now at noon it's half dead. The phone doesn't ring now, and calls go to voice mail... some of my apps don't work and I get no notifications of text messages. HATE ios 7

I haven't contacted apple to make an appointment to see if my phone is the one with the issues but I just bought the phone. The apps I had downloaded worked fine until this new update us my battery would last along time and I could go a day without charging it and now I have to charge it more than once a day so I don't think its fair for them to tell me my phone is messed up. I noticed last night when I looking at apps that there is not a preview section of the app. There's one picture then I click on it to read about the app and it's blank.

OK I had to run a test today. Still running iOS7.0.1 full charge at morning departure from home. Idle time during travel 1.5 hrs. Face time 1 hr. Surfing web safari 5 hrs. Siri 35 min making notes. Battery on return 70% usage left. I still am at loss what others are seeing. On wife's Iphone 72% left from a 95% charge level to start.

Send your feedback in and maybe the old 3D look will rerun or maybe some of it. The calculator app isn't much different than the old one, the settings icon is still a gear. I hated the old font in notes but it would be nice to make it selectable.

What iPod app? Are you referring to the music app? You can move that anywhere you want just like in previous versions.

Nope. Only play pause next track previous track. No access to playlist. No access to artists. No access to now playing. No access to songs. Just next, previous play/pause. However anout an hour ago my 13 year old son said "double click it" and i did and the ipod app opened. Now I just have to see if tat works when the phone is locked and its only one more step than before. I have a real hard time opening control center. The point of contact for the gesture is too close to the bottom on both of my phone cases. One is an otterbox defender and the other a Griffen.

OK tried with the lock screen and the ipod controls will not open. Also reaslized when unlocked, it doesn't take a double click, just tap the song title, so it sort of does what it did before just a different way, but that doesn't make it NOT ugly.

Features I would keep are the new camera features and the control center and that's pretty much it. I was find with safari before so to me that is a lateral change, no improvement. I like the swipe down for search. That is just about the only thing that was made EASIER.

I'd like to be able to turn off all animations. I'm the kind of guy that got Windows 7 and immediately turned off aero. I made XP look and feel like 2000 because 2000 was actually good. I like the fact that OS10.8 looks and feels almost like OS8.0 and even really close to OS7.6, the most stable OS ever made (arguably).

Wel yes it would be better if they were actual buttons that pushed and the shadows changed to reflect that. I showed them to my wife side by side and she asked for her phone back. She absolutely will not upgrade. I keep trying to trade phones. Mine is 64GB and hers is 32GB. Mine has a broken OS on it and her's has a nearly flawless one.

If nothing else, Apple has to keep paying the goon squad to keep deleting my posts. Seems like it would be less expensive to fix my phone! particularly since I have iOS6.1.4 installer sitting on my desktop ready to go.

Then if you know how to use Google you are ready to go.

BTW, there is no change in what you are referring to accessing the "iPod" app. In both cases if you have accessed the Music app it is open within your recently used apps. Double-click on the home page, scroll to the icon/page for the Music app, tap the page above the icon. If you want to close it instead press your finger on it and scroll up.

Or you could put the Music app in your dock.

Deggie I'm not trying to be ugly but some of you all are a bit thick. I'm not talking about app switching. Im talking about when you flick to the right and the ipod icon and controls and the screen rotate lock control shows up on iOS6. Interestingly if you had been watching a video or youtube the icon was replaced with those icons. In any case when on a plane this is very convenient. I have only about 40gb of music and maybe a third of those are songs I don't even like but have to have for work. I don't use playlists because how the heck am I supposed to know in advance what song I want to hear.

Wow, I am still not a huge fan of the new IOS, but less of a fan of the changes to the Apps. Apple took everything unique about the apps and turned them into WINDOWS!

They are basic, ugly, and boring. I used to love the Calendar, Notes and Pages for their quirky fun interfaces. Now everything is sterile and runs together.

Come on Apple you are better than this! Does Samsung scare you that much that you have to follow instead of lead.

I'm loving the changes to the camera. Thats about it. I do like Mavericks so far. They didn't go to the extremes. If iOS calendar was the same as mavericks calendar i'd be ok with that. Love the additional video features in Mavericks. I think the name is stupid, but all the cat names were strange too. Whatever.

This my issue with the control center being on the bottom of the screen, too. I have a cover from Brookstone for protection on my iPad mini, so I can carry it in my bag. But, I actually have to pull the cover back to access the Control Center. Not convenient at all. Being able to double click in iOS 6 was much easier to access.
