100% IOS7 Fix for (IMessage Waiting for Activation)

I have a question about restarting I-Phone 5S after IOS-7 installed when turned on says phone diabled how do you enable phone? at the bottom it says slide for emergency

ilcoud.com and enter apple id and then if your device is there you can wipe it from the site and re setup the device

backup the device with itunes.

Restore the device with itunes and set up as new.

Sign into the facetime and imessage to activate it.

After that is done and activation is good.

Restore from the backup.

Then make sure to sign into facetime and imessage again and you should be good to go

This method worked perfectly for me. The only thing I did differently was I turn off my phone after turning off iMessage and FaceTime. After turning my phone back on I was able to turn both services back on, sign into iCloud and restore all my original settings/email addresses.

I dont have the "Send and Receive" option. Here is a screenshot of my iMessage screen. Any help?

You don't have that section because you have no accounts set up to send or receive messages. Tap on "Use your Apple ID for iMessage" to set it up.

When I try to do that it says "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again." But there is nothing wrong with my network connection. I've tried turning off celluar data and only using wifi and I've tried turning wifi off and only using celluar data and get the same message either way.

This worked for me: Turn off Cellular Data in Settings > Cellular and make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi, then go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

I am having the same problem as HIMDarling. Have tried all the suggestions posted and nothing is working. I am trying to restore my phone as others have suggested but it is trying to download the newest upgrade to 7.0.2 even though I have that version already on my phone. Now itunes is attempting to load 7.0.2 and it is taking forever :-(

I am definitely open to additional suggestions.

BTW, my issue was that iMessage's were not going through nor reverting to text unless I did it manually. Same issue on iPad and iPhone running iOS 7. This fix corrected both although I really hated to lose my old Wifi settings. Also, iMessage was working perfectly on my Mac.
