This has been driving me NUTS! Thanks Chris. Your suggestion works. But I'm not about to go into hundreds of contacts to change them when my original data is correct. Guess I'll fix them as needed until Apple corrects the bug. I also contacted Apple with the link you provided. I may also try PeterRu1735's suggestion to export my contact list and clean up the address info. Love my iPhone 5S, but iOS7 still needs some tweaking.

I have an iphone 4s with io7 and hosted exchange. This doesnt work. Ive tried 5 attempts to change a single address to work correctly trying the techniques outlined. Its finally correct on the 5th attempt, as the hosted exchange kept getting updated by the iphone with more rubbish everytime I changed it. E.g. I got the address to appear, but it would default to the other address, or it produced two addresses with xxx on, etc.

It took my 15 minutes to sort out a single contact. This is not an acceptable solution. Im now thinking of getting a different phone, as I also hate the new interface for IOS7, the calendar is now not user friendly either, never mind that as i tried the latest techinique to delete the blank addresses from the contact, it then crashed the contact app and now i need to reboot! shocking upgrade, absolutly shocking, I used to drink the apple kool aid, but no more.

I also have this problem on my ipad since ios7. I have found the easiest solution is to download the free app Cobook which looks just like Apple contacts and lo and behold all the addresses are ok when I sync my Outlook contacts with the ipad via iTunes. I assume the cobook app uses the Apple contacts database which their app isn't displaying correctly

After moving to icloud from outlook via icloud sync many addresses didn't show on my iphone.

The problem is with contacts that have a blank address for Home, Work or Other but for some reason the country field is filled in.

  • Go to each contact making sure you can see the addresses for Home, Work and Other.
  • The address you actually want to see should show here in Home, Work or Other
  • Check which of the other addresses - Home, Work or Other - are blank except for the country field.
  • Delete the country field

And like magic the actual address you want shows on your iphone!

Here's another workaround where contact edition is also involved:

1. Open a problematic contact entry on your iPhone

2. Tap Edit

3. Add any dummy address and save

All original address fields magically appear. I guess this is an iOS bug which needs to be fixed ASAP.

If you have many contacts to edit, you can use this: How to edit iPhone contacts on your PC

Go to Settings, Mail, Contacts, Calendars and check to see how many accounts are sync ing. I only use exchange for syncing my work contacts, but it appears my iCloud account was turned on when upgrading to IOS7.

I went to iCloud account and turned Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Reminders off. Select Delete and your contacts should be working.

You might want to turn all other accounts off and delete all contacts from your phone and then go back to the mail accounts and only turn on one (1) account that has the contacts that you want.

This fixed my problem and changes in Outlook now sync properly to my iPhone 5. Changes to iPhone update my Outlook and changes to Outlook update in iPhone (all fields)

I had exactly the same problem everyone else is describing. Here's what worked for me. Click on the contact in your iPhone. Click edit. Delete the address field (either business or home, whichever shows up). Save. In each instance, the phone then automatically updated with the info that was missing. Crazy. But it worked. I'd like to know if this works for you.

Indeed. This is a major problem. Most people have more than a few contacts. I have over 2000 on my office 365 account nd I really need then properly synced to my iPhone. Missing the addresses is useless. So Apple, please take note of this. I am an IOS loyalist but the contacts are a major feature of my iphone and it is pretty useless without them. I really do not want to go back to being tethered to my PC either via cable or wirelessly (wirelessly is actually pretty useless too as you can't force a sync but have to wait till it does it automatically)

My wife's older 3GS is still on IOS6 and that works fine so in revamping the look, yuo have broken a key feature. Personally, a working sync beats a flat looking one!!

Why does no Apple person appear to state 'Sorry, we have a bug here, and we do our best to fix it soon.' Even better: 'The IOS7 calendar app is a mess?

For me it's my first iPhone experience - I bought it a year ago in spite of it's expensive price because all iPhone users I knew never complained.

Looks like the complaining era has begun - at least for me.

Since upgrading to iOS7 many Outlook contacts addresses do no sync to my iPhone 4S.
